Melktert - Culinary Haven
Ingredients:
Crust:
200g - plain flour
100g - butter
100g - caster sugar
1 - egg
1/2tsp- salt
1/2tsp - baking powder
1/2tsp - almond extract
Filling:
600ml - milk
40g - butter
100g- sugar
2 - eggs
1Tbsp- vanilla sugar
2Tbsp- plain flour
2Tbsp - cornflour
cinnamon for dusting

Separate the egg whites in a bowl only use yolks in you mixture when done let it cool a bit while beating eggwhites to soft peak. Fold into your mixture in 2 batches. Add to crust and bake again for 20 to 25 minutes then sprinkle cinnamon. Filling will be much lighter and smoother 😊
