May 2019 Paycheck Budget Recap
Today, I am showing you how I close out my budget every month.
I am also showing you what my spending and budget looked like for May 2019.
What do you do with your budget after the month is over, and you’re ready to begin a new month? Most people don’t realize it, but your spending throughout the month gives you some incredibly helpful information.
One of the first steps to creating and sticking to a realistic budget is tracking your expenses. Your spending is the underlying foundation for creating a budget and ensuring that your budgets in the future are successful.
If you are not aware of where your money is going, you can’t make the best decisions for your dollars. Today, I am going to show you how to extract all of the vital information from your expense trackers using three helpful worksheets.

I have been so addicted to your videos since I found them in May. I watch these budget ones over and over so that it sinks in. I am loving my workbook and have found that I was REALLY wasteful with my money. You are amazing and you explain the process so very well. I now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
I absolutely love your videos. I have been watching a lot of other you tubers to get my fix, but none of them are as good as you. Thanks for posting your May results. Looking forward to June budget setup.
Your videos are so very motivating!!! You are saving me financially! I love following along side your saving journey and seeing how you paid so much debt off!! I’m still learning but slowly getting the hang of it! Thanks girl! ☺️
You are amazing and inspire me to follow your simple steps. I purchased your system and have started on this Journey....feels fantastic to understand money and actually controll where it is going. Big hugs😋
Cannot wait until you restock the planner!! I purchased one this weekend to use temporarily until I can buy the one you use. It looks like you will be taking pre-orders in a few months.
Love it! Thanks for the inspiration ❤️
Love this video thanks for the inspiration!!!
I love your videos. Can you make a video if someone is starting budget and meal tracking for the first time? A step by step guide to budget all areas of life? All the best and keep it up..
Can you do a video on ur business monthly tracker.
Just found your channel and I’m addicted and ready to start. Although I am paid weekly but I noticed there aren’t any weekly budgeting videos
Kumiko, you're a beautiful and intelligent woman (with or without percing). World needs women like you. And, I love your voice. Have a good continuation. Monique (France)
I really really miss your older style budget overview/recap!!
Love this 💕❤️ how do you track your cushion/buffer into closing out your budget
Thanks for this video. Closing out the month is a little harder to grasp (for me) so I appreciate this. I have a couple of questions: Regarding NY trip, at least part of it was for business purposes and presumably deductible. Why did you use your personal vacation funds and run the trip through your personal budget? At a minimum your airfare and all expenses on the days of conference should be business expenses. Second question - For May you show no earned income because, as you explained, you deposited the “May 1” check at the end of April. You did the same in late May - deposited the June paycheck at the end of May (due to your travel to Texas) but you didn’t count that income in May, the way you did in the same situation at the end of April. In terms of paying the bills it doesn’t matter but as someone still trying to get the hang of parts of the budget documentation, I wonder if you can explain how you decide which month to put the earned income? The situations seemed the same to me. (In my case I had a bi-weekly paycheck hit on 5/31 and counted it for May and just showed a higher that normal June 1 starting balance). Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Can you please PLEASE make a video on how you create your budget binder?

Question about the starting balance, I get paid on the last day of the month and have some bills auto-paid the last day of the month but they don't clear obviously until the next month. On the first of June, for example, my bank could show my balance is 700.00 however after 2 May bills clear in June but paid for in May its really 500.00 would my starting balance be after the May bills clear or whatever the bank says no matter what? I didn't list the transaction in June because they are May bills paid in May is that correct?
Loved this, hope you can make the video of how you saved for the workbook

Not sure if you mean on designing the workbook or on purchasing the workbook. The workbook is her own design and that is her business. You can purchase her workbook on her website. Right now it is not in stock the printed version, but she does have a printable version of her new workbook. She does sell another version which is her first workbook design.
Please, can you do a video to exclusively explain sinking funds? Pretty please 🙏

Bee M I read that the pre orders for the budget planner are in August.
Where can I find the yearly visual trackers at the end of the video?
Do you still selling your book? Do you have it like printable form? I will like to have it. I need to see where my money is going.
Love your videos. I was just wondering, if you dont use debit or credit cards how do you order stuff online. Do you use gift cards?

@@thebudgetmom I also noticed that your utility company is avista. Several of my kids live in the spokane area and that is their provider as well.

@@doctorsaz The workbook is undated so I might purchase the workbook for next year, because I purchased another planner to use for budgeting this year. It may be better to purchase the printable version, because you can use it more than once. Not sure if there will be a limit time on printing the printable version or will it be available for lifetime?
Great recap! I love how you break everything down. I am curious, if you did have a mortgage, would you include that in your debt payment plan?

From my understanding she wants to purchase her house in cash money. That is why she is saving $400,000

@@tj.henderson yes, I understand that -- hence the reason I phrased it "if you did have a mortgage...." mortgages are not typically lumped with regular consumer debt ie credit cards, student loans, auto loans.

@@halibutchaser6983 It is interesting, but from the budgeting youtubers I have seen they include it with their other debts. So,I understand your question now. Also, write her an email she seems to answer fast there. If,she does not answer your question here or in a video. Have a great rest of your day.
How do I get a password to your resources online? I have done everything as far as entering my name, email and hitting submit but it never sends me a password to enter your section online

I am having the same issue.
It sounds like you purchased inventory with the 98k for your business. Why wouldn't you consider that just a transfer of assets? (from Cash to Inventory)

I know this is off subject I use to have a Spanish teacher with the lastname Ornelas. Seeing your lastname reminded me of her. She was a sweet woman. I believe she had a son and a daughter. You kind of favor her. Anyway, good luck on your budgeting this month.

From the video I clicked on the get 10% off link under getting started. Then I went to the bottom of the page and clicked on buy it now for the softcover workbook. That took be to blub where a message pops up that page is nowhere to be found.
