I think this is a process of weeks/months, at least for me. I’m still figuring it out. It’s like every paycheck i find something else new about my spending. But one time I had 600 left over! Untouched! Not every time but if I put my mind to it I realized I could do it. I’m still figuring this out

Thank you for saying that the emergency fund isn’t just for a “rainy day” nor just for when the furnace blows up. I quit the Dave Ramsey method because I got so depressed when I wanted to fund “wants” but didn’t feel like they were justified. Not like his way is the law.

Thanks to you Miko, I’ve learned to be able to budget by paycheck. Before you, I didn’t come across anyone teaching paycheck budget. The monthly paycheck never worked for me and because of that I stopped budgeting for months. Since I started again I have been able to save more and feel at peace and find the feeling of security I have been seeking. Thanks so much Miko. Xoxo

We did an envelope method when we were newly weds. Because my husband earned $200 a week and i had 3 jobs😅 just barely making it. Today i am a stay at home mom and my husband is on a salary position and we are budgeting to pay off our car🙂and hopefully our home we bought on july 2021. In january we had cc debt we paid off, we had 0 in savings but we budgeted so hard that in just 6 months we saved enough for our down-payment and closing cost in july. Even our lender was surprised, looking at the numbers she couldnt belive it. And during that time my husband wasnt on the salary pay yet, he was paid per hour.... It was soo hard and honestly thats where all our pandemic gov income went to. Thanks to that extra cash we were able to budget extra hard and meet our goals... specially because the market for our price range was/is supper saturated. So keep faith, budgeting paycheck to paycheck works. And keeping your why present makes success tangible!

March has been difficult because I’m still trying to figure out how to make it work for me. I am on a once a month income but it doesn’t always come on the same day I just know it’s coming near the end of the month so that makes it hard. I’m not going to give up until I figure it out. Looking forwards to the new workbook coming out. I hope it will be available for download too. Thank you Miko for your hard work and your guidance!!

I just watched this seminar and you are so inspiring. In order to stsrt this journey do you need to the monthly spender first then work on the budget. Like I have said before I get paid pretty much daily and I just don't know where to start. I'm so tired of struggling. My want and why is to just know that all my bills house, utilities, car and food will be paid and I'm not struggling to make them.

Thank you for saying that you couldn't do the baby steps and pay off debt the way Dave Ramsey say to. I have try is way different times over the years and failed at it. I always thought it was just me. I have to write down my budget and where my moneys on paper. For sometime my husband had me log the stuff for our checking account online. I hated it. Then end when our laptop stopped working and I went back to writing it out on paper. I was,so happy doing it that way.

I am 55 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns.
