Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Salads are a terrific way to make vegetables your main course. When Martha invites guests to lunch, she loves to make Frisée aux Lardons, a classic French salad made with spicy greens, crisp bacon, creamy poached eggs and warm vinaigrette. Her Chopped Salad is based on a recipe she got from her daughter Alexis - a dish that’s as beautiful in presentation as it is delicious in taste. Next Martha shows you how to master the Caesar Salad, and then, Stacked Butter Lettuce with a fresh citrus and yuzu vinaigrette.

Certified Gold!!!!!
Thank you Martha. Love and appreciate all you have done over the years to help make a home and cook with confidence 🙂❤️
I was in the Infantry a long time and these shows are helping me get better at my horrible cooking. 3 yrs ago, I could make pasta.. Not, good, but life is better with a good meal every now and then. She seems like a very nice lady and her family must be very lucky..
I enjoyed that class, and Martha took time to explain.
I can’t wait to make these salads! You’re a legend Martha! Thank you for all the knowledge you’ve given us. 😁
Hello Martha I used to watch you when I was a little girl I used to dream about cooking because of watching your videos I love watching your videos thank you for being a part of my life I always wanted to cook like you ♥️
You are such a grand instructor of your art! Thanks
my 3 siblings and I loved our salads during lunch or dinner as kids 😋 🥒🥬🌽🥕🧅🫑 our parents would drive us every Saturday morning to the fresh farmer’s markets in long island ny so we had fun choosing our vegetables & fruits too Now as a full grown woman I drive out to farmer’s markets in deep long island ny and even further upstate to Saratoga Springs ny with husband and also with my baby nieces 🤍
Love the chopped salad.. looks so delicious.. Thanks for the feature..
How amazing to find Martha Stewart on KZread.
Yum!! Perfect summer salads. Thank you!
O Martha Martha....I was just looking at some old recipe binders that I have- and lo and behold I printed off some of your recipes from 1997! The ones I like the most is the one with your mom making pierogi - her no nonsense style is appreciative and the picture from the print out is like a keepsake for me now. I adored her! Blessings from Ontario Canada
Omg … in the middle of working day I just can’t stop watching Martha))) thanks for great recipes as always!
Thank you : )
Who else needs that lemon squeezer?🙋🏽♀️
Even kids who often reject veggie will fall in love with your beautiful salad. 😍
I really like the chopped salad, and the Caesar salad was just like I learned in culinary school served table side, we used coddled egg and I’ve used white wine vinegar when I had no lemons
THANK YOU 💖 😋

WOW!! Yummy! Today was the first time that I've ever made a Caesar Salad! THANK YOU!! :-) Going to make all of them Martha!!
Martha loves Japanese inspired stuff! 😆 I’ve seen her use Japanese all purpose chefs knife to here the Japanese inspired salad. Yuzu is actually a winter citrus so it’s not available in summer and we never eat Yuzu in summer but only in winter. We put them in bath to warm up in dead winter and we use often in hot pot. We mainly use skin as the skin is the prized gold, not the juice though the juice is used only to make Ponzu dipping sauce for hot pot traditionally, mixed with soy sauce. Yuzu is indeed very fragrant it’s a cross between lemon and pine actually fragrance wise and it’s piney citrus, not lime. We also use the skin in baking and make it into marmalade also.
Great! Must eat salads!
Iloveur recipes tganks for sharing this video im a try tomake these salads

You did the Cesar Salad just the way they do it in Cesar's Restaurant in Tijuana, well done!! Best wishes from Ensenada Mexico (Home of the Margarita!!)
Love love love 💕
Thank you🥑🍎🍊🍅🥕
Now I know the possible origins of a favorite childhood salad. We called it wilted lettuce salad but it was basically the Frisee aux lardons with garden leaf lettuce and without the egg. I'll try Martha's version!
I just love salads. Will try your daughter’s recipe for sure. It looks so good 😊

I have given 2 of my granddaughter your book on cooking school they love ALOHA
Yum
❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍great vid
So yummy Ma'am.
Martha magnificent
She cracks me up saying "iced water". I've said "ice water" my whole life, but her way is more correct. Also worked in multiple restaurants where everyone (servers and customers) all said Ice Tea. And of course one of my favorite actors/rappers Ice-T.
look so yummy and delicious Martha
Martha likes her salad well tossed ! 🥗
From which year are these Martha's cooking school videos?
I would appreciate all ideas for kids... My grandchildren will eat ribeye fingers, cut one quarter inch by three inches. Air fried sweet potatoes, and pork chops, fish, and berries, only cut up first. Will try this on them. Thanks. I will call it Lego Lunch.
💯
💞
👍🏻👍🏻👌

Can someone tell me what you used in the dressing instead of a raw egg . I listened twice and couldn’t get it . Thank you.

1 tablespoon of store bought mayonnaise. I sometimes have a hard time hearing what exactly is said too and use the closed caption option available on many youtube videos. It can be turned on by clicking on the button in the lower righthand side of the video player that says "CC". It helps to clarify what the heck people are saying in videos when they mumble or if there's background noise :)

@@CheezeItSecretThank you for the detailed instructions. I love it when people try to make it a community !
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏻
Thanks. But why avoiding the lettuce in the plastic bags please.
I also love salads, despite the KETO High Protein that's sweeping the nation. Basic chicken and potatoes are also nice comfort food.. If you're planning on serving fried chicken at any time over the weekend, try dredging the chicken in liquid Ranch dressing and Panko. It still has the wholesome comforting flavor of regular buttermilk fried chicken, but with a a little extra zing. Pressure cook if possible. And don't forget, just about any liquid salad dressing can double as a topper for baked potatoes. Order a steak in a restaurant and tell the waiter you want Thousand Island for your salad and Poppy Seed dressing on the side for your potato.
You do an awesome job on these videos! I would be forever GRATFUL to be able to ask you a few questions. Reach out....surprise me!!!!
I wanna be rich enough so I can use only the center leaves of any greens for my salad and toss the rest in the trash like it don't matter ;)
You using that metal spoon making so inoyingsouun
*
Yeah, John Pinette would disagree with her first statement, god rest his soul.
Martha...did you just use a metal spoon on that pan?
Should ad some jasmine rice in your vegetables salad you're making that's what i do.
How do you make water? lol jk Perfection doesnt exist except in God. Food costs alot in Canada... iceberg is $3 or higher. Not even good kind just flavorless. We dont have field cukes or SEEDED watermelon or grapes. I miss it. Our factory farms suck.

Of course. It's got to be some kind of wishful thinking when people address a celebrity directly, in the YT comments sections. Most entertainment moguls and TV stars simply haven't the time to even glance at their channels here, I expect, although there probably are exceptions from time to time. Granted, some celebs do appear once in a blue moon to promote something on their YT page; Carol Burnett is one example. But she can't read and respond to comments ... she's got a life and she's doing television at the moment from what I understand. Martha's got a new show now, about selling her myriad belongings in a big tag sale event that people bought tickets to attend. I love that some people over 80 are not slowing down. Some viewers here may think these cooking school episodes are spanking new simply because they're being uploaded recently, but I bet if you look at the copyright date at the end you'll discover they're hardly fresh. :) I remember watching a few episodes when they first were shown on my local PBS channel. I still remember being a little taken aback by the backdrop outside the set window; that sky is such an intense blue. I'm glad these reruns are being shared here. This show is relaxing. I don't cook much, just egg and cheese scrambles and such, but it's enjoyable seeing the doyenne of culinary impeccability do her thing.

@@eduardo_corrochio Celebrities don't read or answer the comments, but their teams do. I know one KZreadr with 700,000 subscribers (Martha Stewart has 825,000 subscribers) who reads all her comments and remembers people who make insightful and interesting comments.
Much too much vinegar...a tsp will suffice and you won't alter the texture and taste of the eggs.
Does Martha have any idea how preachy she sounds at times? Yes Martha, I do know what a lemon squeezer is; I own the same one.

Yes it is vegan No meat or fish or egg or dairy The chopped salad is vegan thought (vegan 30 years) The butter lettuce salad is vegan as well
don't be putting any Snoop's green crack in it!
Whoa. Lots of red onion in that chopped salad. Yuck. Meetings after lunch? A kiss or two? Good luck with that...
That salad is healthy but corn make it unhealthy! You should know about that 😏
Send me some money Martha.
No onion, no cilantro please....
I am sorry but that is a very white lady salad.
We're understanding how crap she became? she was just trying to copy Julia Childs
