One incredible thing about Mariah is how she's able to power-sing while still looking beautiful the entire time. A lot of power singers have to make faces incongruous with their looks, but Mariah somehow stays measured and gorgeous the whole time.

I am mostly an alternative, indie, classic rock, new wave type of music fan, but I appreciate some pop/R&B - guilty pleasures. During the 90s, I found this woman to be the best female vocalist I'd ever heard in my entire life and she was unbelievably gorgeous. I was 15 when Her Music Box Album Came out and it was out in the same year as out the Same Year as Celine Dion's The Colour Of My Love with single The Power of Love and Think Twice. I remember hearing either this song or Hero on Irish Radio in our landlady's house as she had 13 year old daughter. I was at the time living in Ireland with my parents due to my father's work. During that summer I brought the colour of M love on cassette while on holiday back to England. I'm 46 next year and all I will say about both of these women is by heck they can both sing!
