Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli - Time To Say Goodbye
Музыка
Time To Say Goodbye performed by Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli. (C) 1997
In November 1996, Andrea and Sarah Brightman were invited to perform the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partirò)' at the farewell contest of the German World Light-Heavyweight boxing champion, Henry Maske. A national hero held in unrivaled esteem, he is known for his love of selecting entrance themes to his bouts. Sarah Brightman, the internationally renowned soprano and friend of Henry Maske heard 'Con Te Partirò' in a restaurant while dining with her friends. Entranced by the singer and the song, Brightman made contact with Andrea. Andrea and Brightman re-recorded 'Con Te Partirò' as the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye' with members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
This live version is from Brightman's first full concert recording, "Sarah Brightman: In Concert", from London's Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul Bateman. Guest artists include Andrew Lloyd Webber, Adam Clark and Andrea Bocelli. The concert was released to video in 1998.
The concert was directed by David Mallet.

Of all the female singers who’ve stood next to Bocelli and make him feel their presence, this queen guided him, whispered to him, touched his lips, rested her head against him, kissed him, hugged him, hold his hand tight to the finish while delivering the best ever. Yes, this is to die for.

i couldn't agree more hunter. i bought this single cd when i was walking around london england when it first came out. i hadn't even heard it but as a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge lover of sarah brightman i knew i couldn't go wrong. to say i played this song on and on and on would be the understatement of the year. thank god for the repeat button is all i can say. she brought classical music to the mainstream audience, in my opinion, and i'm so very grateful to her for doing so. what an abbasolutely sensational song, and what an intro to the world for this marvelous man with such an incredible voice. thanks for posting, peace to all, xxxxxxx
My entire life I've enjoyed a pretty diverse range of music, from metal to hip hop, electronic to country but never operatic or classical.... Until now. This is one of my absolute favorite songs ever, so much so that I even learned the lyrics off by heart (and I've never spoken Italian before). I just love every single part of this. Obviously the artistic experience in the form of music and singing is absolutely fantastic in itself. Yet, the respect Andrea Bocelli show to the orcestra at 0:37, in addition Sarah Brightmans consideration towards his handicap (blindness), by communicating with him through body movements/-touches, instead of visual input making it an experience to watch in its own right.

It's so good. The rising percussion insists progression, and triumph. Which mimics real life. And when they join together in embrace, and make the song even better, is absolutely a masterpiece. I heard it once, she was working in a hotel. I went around her, and since then, I have heard it on a daily basis for more than ten years.
We played this at my father's funeral back in 2004. He always wanted to be buried at sea. So this song was playing as we were lowering his urn to the bottom of the sea.
Incredible depth of emotion. I drdicate thos to all my friends who have struggled their entire lives, as i have with multiple psychological disorders n challenges You are all my heros, i truly know how hard life has been for each of us who are very sensitive and battle just to cope in thos world with these disorders....Hugs to you all who struggle....One day we will be set free of this earthly burden nobody wants

One of the sweetest moments of my life was my first night of hearing this song. I left home to a strange land far away from home and I was the only one in that compound. I was very scared that night and then from another compound i heard this song at about 12 and I didn't know when I slept. Since then I could only hear that song once a year by chance bcos I heard no means of playing the song . Another sweet moment of my life was when I was watching a film supranps and coencidentaly this song was playing in this supranps movies and in another movie which my flatmate was watching at the same time. This song played simultaneously in the movie I was watching and the one a female flatmate of mine was watching and simultaneously the actors in both movies said I love this song . Surprisingly I rushed to see the movie tttt he girl was watching and it was a different movie about iindoor ce skating competition and this song was playing while the actor was ice skating romantically.. u can imagine how adorable the scenero was . And tthen we played that part over and over again and held each other and to my surprise I and my female flatmate made love while the song was playing. I never expected I would ever make love 💕 to her . I will never forget that sweet night . I love this song

Menos. ObriGado. Volte sempre.
Lost my mum 2 months ago to COPD and honoured her this song for her funeral. So emotional listening before and after her funeral, an amazing song that will always remind me of a wonderful mother. 😢❤
Sarah looking very cute and Andrea handsome, and their voice are amazing. Shows again that music and songs were much better than now.
If these voices rnt a gift from God I don't know what is 🥰❤

If this doesn't move you , there is something seriously wrong . ! Anyway , why am I crying .? Beautiful. xx Love to all . Enjoy .
It’s impossible for me to watch and not cry. Send this into the cosmos as the pinnacle of humanity’s beauty.
I have always been in love with Andrea Bocelli and his voice since I was a teen. I finally got to see him in concert a few years apo! I cried through his entire performance! I have never been so moved in my soul before by any singer throughout my life time! He touches places inside me no one has ever touched me before! Extraordinary Divinely gifted beautiful man. What a Great Gift he is to us.

His voice is absolutely captivating and I've loved it for decades (yeah, I'm "old"). If I was able to attend his concert, it would have to be without makeup because I am sure my face would be tear-stained throughout

you are extremely lucky to have seen him live. it's on my bucket list-- however I would probably need to go to a bigger city in order to see him in concert, because i dont think he would come to my state (utah lol. Salt lake is pretty big...ppl think its small but the valley is packed and good sized-- but ppl like Andrea Bocelli dont come to places like this i think🤔😂😂)
