Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Part two of making the tomahawk from assassins creed.
In this part 2 will be making the handle. I'm going to harden the axe head as well. I had a great time making the tomahawk, hope you guys like it as much!

Nice video. In the earlier video you mentioned that the material for the axe-head was mild steel. Did you test the hardness after the quench? Mild steel has very little carbon in it, so I don't think you managed to harden it a lot. I don't doubt it's a usable axe, the edge just might not hold well.

Thank you and I was aware of that. it wasn't meant to be a real tool, more of a prop for cosplay or a tribute to the games. nevertheless i wanted to make it usefull and thereby demonstrate how you would harden a real knife, so its usable. Thanks again for the comment and I hope you like my video's ! If you know more people that are interested in building please help them find my channel if it isnt too much of a bother

Shadow Demon I explained alreadyto someone else, this video serves as a tutorial/showing people how to do it. Mild steel or not, all the steps of hardening are in there and I think I explained everything. I don't intend on using it like an actual axe, so I didn't need to make it from hardened steel.

Shadow Demon because at the time I built it as a prop for a friend that's really into Assassin's Creed. He intended in hanging it on the wall so... Anyway, I have some more cool stuff on my channel, check it out!
