Just so you know, he gets all the blame in History that he deserves for Monmouth and all of his other acts of Sabotage against Washington. Lee nearly cost us the War of Independence, and was actually a Worse Traitor than Benedict Arnold.

Wow good job. It makes me cry of nostalgia. The 7 year old me coming back from school load up my ps 3 (that is probably dead from age) and play ac 3 ah where times were great!

This is kinda off topic, but in AC Valhalla in one of Desmond's audio recordings he says he was starting to see Connor through the Bleeding Effect, but could mostly only hear him. So I imagined Desmond checking his email and a floating ghostly Connor head shouting in the distance "GIVE ME LEEEEE"

Dude! Nah :D. If I can do it, you can do it. It's all about learning bit by bit and gaining skills, then applying them to what you want. I know this kind of videos usually show the cool bits and rarely the failures. It's my bad too. I want to look cool, so I don't do a lot of work-in-progress posts :D. This one I only posted after it was done. I actually cut like 3 branches until I found a good one. Then it cracked as it dried, so I had to start over. There were some failures that thankfully got hidden by the leather. The head was a bit warped and I had to epoxy and sand until it looked good. It was far from perfect, but it looks good enough :). This is just a quick video that shows some stages and in 60s you go from branch to tomahawk, but if you really break it down to the small stuff: the drawing, the cutting, the sanding, etc. If you work on those and improve those small skills that you feel like you're not so good at... brick by brick, you can build anything :)

Never give up! In youtube videos there's a tendency to show the successes, not the failures, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Attempting and managing to create something at 10 is very cool. I wish I had had the creativity and will to take on such projects at that age ^^

The William quote is actually in the Dlc of Revelations where u play as Clay to solve puzzles which took hours for to 100% it & I feel proud that I didn't cheat : ) to get Platinum for Ac Revelations Remastered

It's like Connor was really made to be an assassin.

First of all, thanks :) I'd say the handle is like a real axe. The head is hollow PLA plastic, though. It's got some strength, but if it were made to strike things, I'd have made it 100% infill (not hollow). Even then, it could ruin the paintjob. It was made to be light and not very sharp so that it can be taken into conventions, but still have an authentic look. Now, I did strike a few vines, oranges and whatnot before painting. Feels awesome :D. I have a wooden sword that got some dents after such activities so I decided not to push it further. Now wether I end up selling or keeping it in my shelf, I don't want to be cleaning orange juices from the leather XD In the end, I made it because this is how I am. Sometimes I get an idea and I just want to see it through ^^. AC3 is not my favourite game and I don't plan on cosplaying Connor, but it looked lilke a fun project and it was. Thanks for asking.

All that you said :D. Thanks. Yeah, I've made three hidden blades so far, but I have to make more/remake them. When I do, I'll share. Thing is I didn't use to take photos until I finished my projects. I liked to wow my friends at events, but now I have found that showing the progress can be fun too :D. I just have to remember to take photos. This one was particularly fun, because I did it just because, with no deadlines and no budget. It was all fun and no pressure. I just finished a Sakura Cardcaptor staff, but didn't record it... Now I'm working on Eivor's Shield and taking photos along the way.
