Loyalsock Trail Thru-Hike: Day 2
On day 2, Dan @backpackingadventures4813 and I got an early start to knock out a bigger mileage day on the LT. The eight mile private ground section featured some nice meadows and many building ruins along a several mile road walk section. There were a few climbs but nothing as significant as day one. There were multiple waterfalls on day two with Angel Falls being the most spectacular. Angel Falls is accessed by a 0.3 mile blue-blazed side trail. The afternoon offered up several nice vistas which helped keep spirits high on a bigger mileage day. We ended up camping just past the 34 mile mark in a really nice campsite next to a stream. There were multiple dead standing trees at this site so be mindful of this if camping at this site. This 20 mile day put us in striking distance of finishing the trail on day three.

Great video with outstanding videography. The music was really spot on as well. Day 2 was fun and a lot to see. I will say there are a lot of water falls you hike by on this trail. Very beautiful.

Thanks for the video. Brings back memories from the two trips on the Loyalsock Trail that I took many years ago. So many waterfalls, some small, some larger. It is a trail that is a long drive from my house but is a scenic trail that I would like to get back to. Daniel
