30-Minute Low Impact CORE Functional Training (No Weights, No Jumping!) | Joanna Soh
What is functional training? It is a form of training that works your whole body as one unit through compound exercises to build strength and muscle in a functional and balanced way. Including functional training into your routine is extremely important to improve your ability to perform the everyday activities, and to make daily motion easier and safer.
Here’s a 30-minute workout circuit to improve your strength, balance, coordination and also stamina! We'll be engaging our CORE throughout the entire workout as that's the foundation to a strong body. No equipment needed, just your own bodyweight. It's also LOW IMPACT, hence no jumping. Let's have some fun with the moves!

This is true scientifically! in our body we have this elastic "glue" within our joints and bones and such. When you stop moving this glue, or "fascia", it hardens over time! I hope you both are doing well Cheers
I think i'm on day 12 of your challenge and it definitely felt easier than the first workout! Hard to believe i pushed through😂
I just tried this workout and I really think it's a complete guide to core strengthening. Also very very few people, infact nobody ever tells us how to do proper Russian twists. You are really good, hope more ppl follow u.

Breathe freely and deeply during each core-strength exercise. Focus on tightening your transversus abdominis, the deepest abdominal muscle and the one you feel contracting when you cough.👍
I literally just had fever 2 hours ago, after feeling a bit better i decided to do this workout. I'm feeling much better now that i'm sweating. Thankyou for this🙏

Im not dietitian or a doctor but i experienced the same problem on my weight loss journey. After some time i realised that i was eating too little fat especially quality sources such as high quality olive oil, nuts and seeds. When i focused on including those in my diet but with portion control, my hair started thriving. My experience only ofc

Congrats! I can recommend cold pressed castor oil, it works wonders, is 100% natural and highly effective. As a bonus it's also great to regrow your brows and lashes within weeks! Check KZread for success stories on it or look for other recommendations on hair loss. There are thousands of videos on this topic, so no need to ask a KZreadr for new content that has already been produced by multiple other creators on this platform...

Hi Joanna, please prepare a workout calendar for October as well. Loved your calendar for September;14 down and 16 more days to finish it.
Just finished Core Functional, end of second week of Joanna's 8 week training: going really well. Total exhaustion as per each day, but seeing an improvement in my body, and also feeling the stamina increase. I love this 8 week training as it is like going to class every day: each day different really helps. Great teacher too!

I know the feeling. My wrists are very sore. I wish there were some alternatives as it becomes demotivating when you can't do the moves.

You body weight is too high compared to your writs muscles(aka weak writs).You can replace a lot of palm on the floor to knuckles on the floor(pad them with mma gloves or extra mats if it causes you pain, wrapping your wrists can help too, but I feel that hinders you in the long run and can cut off the blood flow to your palms).Take longer breaks and let you wrists recover. Over time they will get stronger, this is coming from a 95 kg guy, stuff like this use to murder my wrist, but now I have way stronger forearms and can actually properly support my body weight on my wrists. PS: Working out is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Keep at it, eat well and make sure to let you body recover. Muscle pain is fine, sharp join/ligament/bone pain is not, take a break for a few days on the effected area and train something else.

@@Red_Spark. I'm sorry if I bother you. I wanna ask u . did you have pain in your knee when you do this exercise at( 5:10 ) or not. I'm a beginner and anytime when I do this I feel pain in my knees. Is that okay or I should stop(sorry for my English I'm just trying to learn it💜)
