Get Strong! No Weights Strength Training at Home | Joanna Soh
No equipment! Using just your bodyweight we are going to strengthen and tone your lower body, upper body and ab muscles, as well as get your heart rate up. This workout is designed for beginners consisting of fundamental movements to have a strong foundation to build upon. Movements are low impact and a steady pace. If you are not a beginner, you can still do this workout and add volume by using weights or increase the intensity by working at a quicker pace.
Interval: 45 secs Work - 15 secs Rest.
Circuit: Repeat each circuit twice.
Duration: 30 minutes
Estimated Calories Burned: 220 - 300 Calories

1) Alternate Heel Lift Wide Squat
2) Curtsy Lunge to Side Leg Raise

    When you begin workout by day 1 its common that you couldn't do it for more than 5 min, but don't stop there take your time and be consistent..it takes 1-2 weeks for body to get into this routine..just trust your body, don't push too much..because Joanna also do really hard work for years to reach here..so just do it every day regularly, and one day you will do full 30 min workout without break..its my experience 😊👍👍

    Joanna has a rich experience with workouts especially for ladies. Ladies at the gym always say things like " I don't wanna jump. I just want a workout that will help me burn calories without jumping" .Joanna does it very well. Her pace and rythm are just perfect.

    @@Madrasluv depends on the person having the period, sometimes it increases the pressure on the uterus when the person working out has a period that time. some women dont have period pains tho

    After doing this my entire body went limp and every part of me is burning. Actually my arms are trembling as I'm typing this which means it's already taking effect. Will definitely keep this up for the foreseeable future.

    @@chittithalli8367 actually I'm suffering from pcos from years now . I just study about it and by doing home workout and by going gluten & dairy free diet I drop this much weight. I also go for 45 min walk in evening too And yes I do have turmeric+ginger+black pepper Tea at night . That's it 🔥 Hope it will help ❤️

    Joanna Soh cares about the people who watch her video. She always talks about maintaining proper posture and breathing techniques. Choles' work out is effective but if you are an amateur and start following her, you might end up getting hurt. I have tried both their workouts. Based on personal experience, Joanna is the best. Her intention is to actually help you become healthier and it shows on her videos.

    Thank you Joanna and God bless you. I have done dozen HIIT and cardio from KZread trainers. Joanna gives the best instructions by far. Her workout are easy to follow yet challenging at the same time. She shows the correct form and posture and doesn't overkill on unnecessary enthusiasm.

I know that I explain a lot in my videos, but I feel that it's extremely important for all of you to perform the right posture, because most times we think we're doing it right, but little tips and cues can make a big difference, and it helps with your results. 💪

I saw alot of comments about ppl not being able to complete this AND ITS OK ur body is not used to it yet and it will get used to it soon if u workout regularly(it's not important to do it everyday atleast yet so do like 3x a week or smth) ull do it one day so dw keep going ALL THE BEST!!

    I'm really amazed that Joanna can talk and instruct the right and wrong forms during this entire hard workout while I'm like almost drowning in sweat sea LOL !! Joanna,you're the best !!     Feels soooo happy doing this workout. I had an endomorph type of body and I'm 20kg's overweight and I'm hardly lose a pound. They say the best way to lose weight, getting fit & strong is by focusing on strength training and tell you what Joanna, this workout got me sweating a river, yes I'm tired after but not exhausted or getting dizzy like when I did the other workout. Plus I'm grateful for you not in involving the full push ups because I haven't being able to do that (I'd challenge myself anyway) THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💗

    Amazing effort! Yes, strength training is extremely important, we need to do it at least 2 - 3 times weekly. Continue doing push-ups on your knees, and slowly challenge yourself by doing 1 full push-up. Start with 1, eventually 2 and before you know it, you can complete 10 full push-ups! 💪

    @@muskansachdeva2370 Hi, I do at least three workouts per week: full body, upper body and lower body. I just chose some videos I like (this for full body, MadFit's upper body and Heather Robertson's lower body). If I have motivation I'll do cardio (Pamela Reif), yoga (Yoga With Cassandra) or pilates (Move With Nicole). I hope this helped you. I wish you amazing journey💕

    Today its my 3rd session seem bit harder but I can’ quit till I match tune with J Soha. You are the Best J Soh, best part She alwaz have killer smile on her face ☺️. In 30min following her really sweat a lot,same I feel when I run 5-7km. Thanks a lot for sharing .

    Thanks so much for your videos! I was advised to do strength training near the beginning of my weight loss journey to help build muscle mass and boost my metabolism but I find gyms very intimidating and don't have the money for work out equipment. Your videos are challenging, really helpful and motivational, thanks again!!!

    thank you for doing this workout live with us, i believe many people has weak mind and cant keep up more then 10 min but with you i can keep up the whole 30 min cause i see you feeling tired i don't feel so bad for my self. seems like you are showing us we are all in the same boat. with other instructors videos eventually will quit cause i don't feel confident.

    This is the first workout of Joanna's that I tried over two weeks ago. Since then I've done her 8-week home workout plan, and just did this workout again as a part of that. And I can see and FEEL the difference from that first time! My core is stronger, my endurance is longer, and I took less breaks!! Wow!

    Hi! Is this also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could not last even 7 minutes when my entire body completely gave up and I stopped and my MIL told me to go and rest to recover. My MIL did the full session! Her biceps are thick and powerful and she has massive strength and stamina power! I feel really low and defeated. 😟

    I only did a little bit of the up and down plank as well as the push ups because I’m not so strong upper body but I hope that will change the more I do this. Doing this Tuesday and Thursday’s ❤️ I didn’t finish the last set of abs as well but i still feel really good. Thank you! I will be sure to continue doing this ✨

    Heyy I managed to follow your program until week 2 ☺ The first week really pissed me off because your half hour video ended 1 hour for me because I paused it so many times, just to take a breath and wipe the sweat that always tries to get into my eyes But my first day of week 2 feels so much better I finished this video in 45 minutes very happy to feel my own progress☺😆🥰

    I really love your workouts, Joannah! ive done this particular one five to 10 times and its stuck as my workout routine for the strenght category. Though I cant quite do them all the way through. You have crystal-clear like instructions, there so easy to understand. And you are one of the few that understand others needs. Thank you for being an awesome workout teacher!

    I have been doing this workout three times a week with Joannah’s guidance for a few months. Thank you Joannah for the videos and the results I am seeing. What would you recommend for a problematic shoulder as sometimes the push ups and plank up and down agitate my shoulders? I’m hoping I can continue to train while my shoulder recovers. Thank you!
