One of the biggest regrets of my life: Once when I was 16 my mom woke me from a deep sleep at 3:00am and insisted I come outside to see the northern lights. It was the only time in my whole life that they came so far south here in Canada. I was so tired I said "fine!", super annoyed that she woke me for it. I walked outside, looked up for a second and went "there, I saw it" and went back to bed. Always listen to your mom, folks - she has wisdom that you may not see yet.

Seeing the wonder in the eyes of people watching the northern lights always warms my heart ♥ They were just a common occurrence in my childhood winters in northern Sweden, nothing that I would pay much attention to. The same goes for reindeer, elk and the deep freezing cold. One does get spoiled I suppose. It's a shame. So thank you for allowing me to experience that wonder and amazement vicariously through you!

I’m so in awe at the journey you have had and I can tell from your monologues that you really have found your dream. I look forward to every new video you release as the footage is out of this world, such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for sharing and I wish you every success in the future. Maybe one day I’ll watch one of your videos where an old English ex-ambulance turns up and a man and his dog jumps out, just to visit you to see those amazing Northern Lights! ;)

Love both Ash (who's voice is so calm and relaxing and his excitement is really uplifting) and Marie (she is hilarious) & the adorable furry family. For someone like me who is having to watch the coins at mo, it's an absolute treat and hugely generous the amount of content for the amount paid. Hoping things start to improve my end as I will certainly up my patron as and when I can x

We caught a mega Aurora in Jukkasjärvi last November (2022) and my camera had problems focusing so I had to use manual focus. It tries to go to infinity, but you have to turn it back a bit manually to get the clearest picture of the Aurora. Having said that all the pictures were still amazing.

Great video as always, the shots of the northern lights are amazing. Have you got anything planned for the cottage yet? Be nice to see that renovated and back in use

Can't imagine What it must have been like to see the northern lights, totally breathtaking. Love seeing your videos and looking forward to the next one. Will you be adding a wind turbine to your set-up at any point or is that not an option?

"Unreal" is the only way to describe it really. Yes, wind turbine is definitely on the list 👌

@@LostInEurope Make sure that you check all the laws/rules regarding wind turbines first, there are some shady ones about those, and thats why most private owned ones are standing still. and its also one reason everyone who wants to produce there own elictricity uses solar.

We didn't 😊 the "garage" is the coldest room so it warmed up as slowly as I could. All seems fine though, no cracks etc 👌
