I just love your channel so much, I'm so pleased to see that everything is working out for you both. Your videos have a surreal quality and are so beautifully put together. I truly wish that residency is granted to you both. Thank you for all the time and effort you put in that allows us to share a little of your world.

An amazing location and you're loving it and no doubt taking satisfaction from the challenges that come with it. I can get where you're coming from re. the house/barn question. The house is great and when sympathetically restored will be amazing but the barn, well for me it's hard to define but the best I can come up with is that the house no matter how nice is, once you draw the curtains and close the doors is still a house, the barn however has a different quality, I think there's a connection in living in a space where all you have and all you need is visible pretty much, a single space, the cabin effect, you may have a different feeling but that's more or less my feeling, like I say, hard to define but I know what my preference would be even if I can't quite define why :-)

That is a nice surprise you and Marie met and connected with Jonna and her friend☘️

Great solar demo, I wish that more people would tilt their panels. The workshop is coming on nicely too. I loved the "Samurai Helmet" on your chimney, such a shame that it didn't entirely work. A great update video, thank you/.

Fitting a chimney cowl will prevent down draft, only trouble is you need a 5-6m long flume if you burn wood as the high temperature will affect its performance. It ill also need to be secured against the wind at 3 points with wire and cord. Pricey though at around 50 quid plus flume, don't buy cheap junk that might squeak all night and not last long. Lastly, watch out for low bridges!😂

Guessed there would be a connection between you guys and Jonna....very creative people.....

I miss being in the van! But it was also holding me back. If it wasn't so expensive to drive I would have mine on the road already and be exploring this place. It will come 😊

Honestly, if the panels don't tilt in winter solar is pretty much worthless. It's pretty simple to stick a couple hinges on one side and bodge some poles to hold it up 😊

You know a few weeks ago when you mentioned Marie had found a job working for really lovely people...I wondered if it was Jonna!! My heart just burst with happiness for you guys when I saw Nanook and Jonna X x How Awesome and I hope your journey continues to unfold better than you imagined! Ash my Dad was a maker and a tinkerer in the garage and a mechanic so watching you work brings back fond memories hanging out in his garage! Had to back up and think about the house and the barn,,,,and I'm like you, not to interested in the house. Obviously you couldn't get the van in the barn but that would've been great for winter. I like the fabrication of things that you do.

The immigration process is tailored for people to apply from their home country orior to goibg to sweden. Applying while being in sweden invites all sort of delays and problems.... can take up to 6 months. Applying from home country and we are talking about a few weeks. The fact that britain left eu complicayes stuff much more as well.

Sweden has created an application process specifically for British citizens currently living in Sweden with a 9 month window to apply and a dedicated team to process the applications 👍🏻

actually sweden’s immigration process is set up for when you’re living in sweden. trust me i know. been there done that 👍

loving it mate . top class footage :o) im still on with my build , just paid a fortune for a 12v compressor fridge freezer , should have it installed this weekend with a bit of luck . the weathers been cool but nice in Lancashire the last week but doubt that will last . lol. anyhow im thinking of investing in a new camera soon , any recommendations ? ive always had sony stuff upto now . keep up the good work and stay warm .

I seem to have a connection with you. I mean, it would be worth sticking with you, just for your excellent videography but you guys also resonate with me on a more personal level.
