So I tried the heart exercise and within hours I literally received hearts in the strangest of ways! But what was really strange was when I drove down the freeway and a piece of paper got swept up and latched itself onto my side view mirror. As I zoomed in closer, the paper was filled with tiny red hearts!! The paper stayed latched onto my vehicle the whole ride home…stops, turns and all. Amazing what you focus on really does show up.

I have been experiencing a period of extended financial stress, a toxic partner, and a demanding job. I have stopped going to the gym 2 months ago, drinking a lot and gained 10 kgs. To complicate things, I have lived with lifelong anxiety due to separation PTSD as an adoptee by way of forced adoption in 1970. Thank you for this video. I am going to implement these tools starting tomorrow. I am walking back into that gym tomorrow. I am gonna change everything for the better and I am starting tomorrow. Actually I started today. With a high five to myself. I am worthwhile. I am never giving up.❤️

@@calista1280Wow, thanks for reaching out after so long! Well, I am financially better off through my own hard work and endeavour, in fact moving to a new career July 1 which will bring an increase in salary and job security along with way less stress. I am moving toward separation from my partner by start of 2025, a move that will ultimately set me free from toxic stress. I have learned so much about myself by researching the PTSD that relinquishment imposes upon adult adoptees, and I am far more at peace, now that I understand it. It doesn’t go away, but I can be more kind to myself and forgive my shortcomings. Physically, I have been at the gym since the original post, and I am killing it!!! Best shape of my life at 53. It’s like a religion to me nowadays. All in all, forging my way forward as an imperfect, fragile and flawed man, but again, never giving up. Love to you all the way from Perth, Australia. 🇦🇺 😘

Think about what she said, I walked wondering what should I focus on finding, money? a certain kind of stone? then I concluded I'd start the exercise with a heart, then later, upgrade to money.... when I exited the store, I spotted a heart shape that had been drawn in now dry cement. ;)

I've found personally for me one of the most powerful things to create my reality and manifest the things that I've wanted is to focus on EMBODYING the ENERGY that I prefer to be experiencing in this present moment. I started to open myself up to the possibility that I can simply CHOOSE who I want to be, and then give myself PERMISSION to EMBODY that person and the way that I would be, and naturally what started to happen to me is that there was an effortlessness and ease that came with all the actions that I took embodying this new version of myself, because I allowed myself to become the person I really wanted to be. Great video Lewis! Thanks for being one of the people that inspires me to post videos every single day! Much Love 🙏

She is right: the part where she says people say the worst things about themselves, horrible things. Our self-talk (most anyway) tend to be horrible. I was a personal trainer for 7 years and man o man, some of the things I would hear people say about themselves. Absolutely hurtful. Getting them over that was just as rewarding to me; even more so actually, then helping them reach their physical goals. The stories I could tell you man.

This is why I love being a personal trainer. As a pole instructor I always here the negative talk. I could never do that, I'm not pretty enough, what if I don't fit in with the rest of the group. Little do they know we don't expect any of that from them. They're surprised our classes are just as structured as every other strength building course, and shocked pole dancing is a spectrum. Not just the hyper sexualized dancing they know of from strip clubs. They are free to move anywhere on that spectrum wherever they feel comfortable or venture to. I cant wait to get that back soon. 😔💔

A day or two went by and it popped up again after another video that I was watching and I thought to myself yeah don’t forget you have to continue watching this video, yet at that moment I didn’t have time. Well I just woke up and ONCE AGAIN it popped up and I knew that the Universe was CLEARLY shoving it in my face and telling me to make the time to watch it in its entirety. Well I’m here to say THANK YOU 🙏 thank you for creating a video that I SO NEEDED to see at this moment. I love ALL of your content but this one hit my heart in ways that just brought me to tears. I’m almost 59 and I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano yet I have told myself “oh you’ll never be able to learn that” but with baby steps and CONSISTENCY….. This is the second time I have listened to Mel about her new book and high five, another podcast, and it was great, but since I was familiar with the stories and the concept I learned more about myself and my self talk this time. So great to have heard it again, love Mel and of course I love Lewis, I listen to most of his podcasts. Great stuff guys.

Mel I so relate. When I went to do my first high 5 and put up my hand to the mirror I heard “stop that’s not you”. I too had a difficult relationship with my mum. My internal mantra is “I’m wrong” Now I’m a Relationship Specialist. You inspire me. Thank you.

This is one of the best videos I have listened to in a very long time!!! I’ve been through a very hard season. I lost my grandfather in October and then my father in November. I have gotten out of my routine of positive thinking and good habits. I allowed depression, anxiety, fear, and worry to consume me. I decided a few days ago to take control back over my life! I’ve been going back to the basics and doing all the things I used to do when I felt my best. This video was right on time!!

This was a REAL motivator for me! I have always been self disciplined. But since COVID and turning 60, I seem to have lost it along the way. I've gained 20 lbs, that I cant seem to lose. I suffer from depression, being alone, childhood sexual abuse, by a very narrsasitic, 'famous' father, losing my mom & my job (and therefore my home) in the same month, along with a lot of racial pressure. But despite I push forward and try to stay motivated, but its been off & on & sometimes I just lose the motivation. THIS has helped me in so many ways on SO many levels! THANK YOU! ❤ And thank you Lewis for being so real, open & relatable! ❤❤❤

It’s amazing how positive things are happening all around me. Mirror work is real. I started making KZread videos last year and it has helped my self-esteem tremendously. Just looking at myself regularly made me realize how much self-loathing I had and was unaware. My life has been changing because I finally like myself. I’m still working on loving myself but liking is progress. I left go of so much baggage and that includes toxic people.

I loved this topic! I loved how you genuinely exchanged at the end!! I wanted to have a group hug with you both! Awwww! I have many times visualized the sacrifices I would have to make and how I would deal with it. and ya know when you get there …. It’s not so bad.. lol… cause you prepped for it and the pain/the sacrifice, it’s temporary and it morphs to a focus of being present with the work of achieving the goal which then becomes empowerment and success of self discipline. Then the goal is complete and it’s almost anticlimactic. I also realized that nobody really understands what your achievements really mean to you so, you have to reward/celebrate yourself in ways that means something super special to yourself. I’m so excited! I’m gonna go high five myself right now and every morning!!! Thank you for this beautiful show of love for humanity!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
