Land Rover Series 3 Stage 1 Station Wagon

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is my Land Rover S3 Stage 1 109 station wagon. It is a 10 seater with a 3.9 Isuzu diesel engine. I am the second owner of this wonderful vehicle. This is the first of my Series Land rover videos. If you would like more please let me know.
You may note that it has blue mudflaps on it. I am after some of the original style white Land Rover mudflaps, if you know where to get them from please let me know.

Very nice car, story and video. The previous owner was good with this car until the end, when he decided to find someone to keep on the good work. It must have been a relief for him to find the proper candidate.

That's one way of taking the dog for a walk! Great vehicle, I had a 109 2.6 safari for a short while in the uk. I got rid as it drunk fuel, but it was a looker!! Enjoy!

Yeah he loves going for land rover walks on the farm. I almost bought a s2a 2.6 S/W many years ago. Geez they look good. I have a forward control with a 2.6, I would hate to think of the fuel economy of it so I think I just won't lol.

thinking of getting one similar [1982 ]what is the gearing like in those stage 1, ie is it any higher than the earlier stage 3 or does it really need an overdrive for highway ? :-) thanks

In Australia we got a choice between the Rover/Buick 3.5 V8 and the Isuzu 4BD1 - the latter is an outstandingly reliable and torquey engine.

It is a different gearbox. Still 4 speed. It is very similar to a Perentie. I don't feel the need for an overdrive.
