    No. Petrol 3.5V8 only

    Funnily enough the 3.9 EFI was based on a discarded Buick-designed prototype but no sadly and annoyingly the only LR diesel V8 you can get is a 2006 onwards 3.6 TDV8/4.4 SDV8 RR Sport or Vogue SE/Autobiography.
