Thank you for your comment. I wish it was a S2a. That would make it ultra special. To confirm it’s a December 1980 produced 2.25L diesel S3 delivered by D.O.M.I Denmark to the Danish Military. Uniquely the factory paint as recorded is Danish Army Green. I think your confusion may be the dashboard. As the military variants never adopted the later S3 style, metal wood and vinyl wrapped dash as seen utilitarian models.
