  worked on the older models as an apprentice and if it rained hard and you drove over a puddle most would stop as the distributor hung low ,850cc engines ,came across an unusual car here in Australia ,maybe a subscriber or your goodself is familiar with this vehicle ,1967 Glas Gt ,never heard of one 1st time ive seen one

  New subscriber ,glad to be here ,mechanic here in Australia im near 60 , the M110 straight six backed up with that 4 speed auto ,i believe it to be the most reliable petrol engine ever produced ,they just keep living theres not end to the mileage to these wonderful engines

  I had one in Canada. Since we drive on the wrong sidr of the road, the controlls were on the left. I found in our cold winters, the ideal oik for the SU dampers was diesel fuel. The recomended engine oil would thicken and cause sluggish operation. Since we use salt for de-icing roads, it rusted out before it wore out. The engine was transplanted into a Morris Oxford which surprjsed many a North American mussel car.

  Interesting! Always fancied a P5B,disappointed Rover didnt make a manual option,specifically with the Coupe model. They did a manual option on the P6B ,the fantastic 3500S,so seems odd.
