@marcus730743 No. The kill switch has nothing to do with the servos. Most modern radios have a built-in failsafe in the radio receiver that can make the servo apply brake. You just have to read the radios manual and set the failsafe appropriately.

If you have the HPI 2 channel 2.4ghz radio then there is no kill switch that will ever work with that radio. It's just a problem with how they designed their receiver. You will have to get a different radio. I recommend Futaba.

Im pretty sure that the the superbee killswitch works with the stock radio gear but u have to buy and 2 way splitter and use the same channel as your steering servo, and it still work but the only thing you cannot do is cut it on command... thats just what I saw on the pdf instructions i down loaded for the superbee killswitch.... thanks for your reply :)

@matty008960 What are you talking about? This is a real HPI Baja. None of them come with a remote kill switch. They only come with a red push button on the engine. You have to buy a Killer Bee and install it on the car.

@pirape The Kill Switch would loose power and cause the circuit to close, which would ground out the engine spark, which would kill the engine immediately.

can I buy the noise box and the led by themselves? I picked up the kill switch already. i did not see the options listed solo on the site.

if it does this ,then any signal of failsafe want be able to set the servos in fail safe positions!!please let me know how that works!!thank you!!

I have the hpi baja 2.0 if i bought the superbee killswitch could i still cut the engine remotely on command with the stock radio gear or do will it only cut the engine if the a glitch etc ?

Can you place the killer bee switch on top of the receiver or close to the antenna? Will it cause interference from the motor?

hi!let me understood the usage of that gadjet!!in the bigging of that vid you said that with that switch you can prevent a throtle servo burn !!this thing works either if we have or not a fail safe,right??if we have fail safe when we closed the trans. with the receiver on the fail safe will put dervo in brake porition!!in this case the kill switch will reset the servo in neuteral position!in other words that thing cut off automatically the power in car?

are any of the killer rc kill switch's compatible with 2.4ghz hpi radio's like the one that's standard for the 5t?

The Baja v2 doesn't not come w a fail safe u have to install yourself. If u don't believe then you car goes on its own then u will.

The Killer Bee does not get warm or hot. It should be fine with plastidip.

Lots of noobs do. The Super Bee also buzzes when you don't have the Aux switch flipped on, which many people forget.

@speedstangsixtyfiv3 There is not any brand or model of kill switch that will ever work with that radio. It's because of how they designed the receiver. It's a stupid design. Sorry.

I don't remember. This video is over 3 years old. I've swapped in several different engines since then. But I do have some OBR engines and they are great.

You want to use our new Super Bee kill switch. It works with more radios than the older Killer Bee.
