Every RC receiver has a Built in fail safe always check ✅ before buying a fail safe because it will never work I recommend the hpi racing TF 50 receiver works very well 🎉
Great vid . Love the fact you showed it not working. Most people don’t do that

Thanks, got to see it how’s it is ain’t ya :)
Flurescent lights cause interfearence with am radios sometimes and you have those in your shed.
i saw a video where the guy put a couple of small elastic bands on the bottom of the neck of the carb and connected the other end to the servo horn so if it powered off the bands would pull the carb shut..... homemade failsafe
3:40 is the steering supposed to be that week? Mine is like that, do you just need a higher torque servo?
The GWS one you're holding is the one I used to use. Saved a plane once, as I was doing a low pass with my 105 inch Aeronca champ with 23cc petrol engine on 35Mhz PPM,the failsafe kicked in, shut the engine down and arrived with a only broken prop, the rx died and the failsafe saved the day. I sold the failsafe on ebay after going over to 2.4 as didn't need it (2.4 has inbuilt failsafes)

Haha yeah and people still put them on their 2.4GHz systems.

@@HaggardRC that's true, I now want to buy one, because my eachine tx6 hasn't a built in one, because my nitro once drove off😂😂😂 now I can laugh but I don't want to see it happen again😅😆

2.4GHz doesnt work with every car, depends on the orientation of the engine and brakes.
You dont setup it. If it's work is good. Only need to set up. My tip is to set up it without connect to servo. Turn on car and trans push brake to the end hold 5 sec "set" and thats all.
Well I just bought a hsp kindliness 1/16 nitro rc car, well I hope it’s good haha
your also using the old fm reciver and transmitter if I'm not mistaken. they are Extremlly jitterly. i upgraded my old savage ss to 2.4 GHz in 16 because of the jitters caused it to backflip onto its engine and busted the head. and no the hsp failsafe doesn't work. its junk.
I’ve heard if the failsafe is too close to your antenna it won’t work well, also if I put a traxxas receiver from an electric car into a nitro would it have an automatic failsafe?

I've never had issues with failsafes being close to ariels before. And it depends if it's 2.4GHz or not. 2.4GHz have them built in and AM receivers don't.

Rusty RC it’s a 2.4ghz but it’s on an electric
please stop talking garbage, I have owned, raced and crashed many hsps, their build quality and components are impeccable for the price, one user who does not have a clue how to use it should not spoil the company's reputation

There more designed for the newer radio systems
retest with a digital system
Looks like you never setup the failsafe with your car, you need to set brakes, push the button on the failsafe for 5 seconds, then try it

I put a new one on and it's fine now.

Ok, if you still have the old one, try to plug it in and go through the setup procedure, I'm finding out everyone who says they are junk, they just plug it in and obviously it's not gonna work until you program it

No idea, people are a bit impatiant these days ain't they lol. I wouldn't recommend HSP myself but there can't be much to go wrong with a simple fail safe really...
I will buy a dynamite one for my losi nitro (duh)
is hpi made in china?
