Apparently, Bill is desperate for gigs.
I don’t get those who object to Bill talking a lot - it’s a conversation, not an interview. Unstructured chat. Nice to see Jon has has intelligence & sense of humor…as well as looks.

then your not very perceptive. its never really a conversation with Bill..... just ongoing narcissistic led whining and revenge tinted sarcasm. he has to be the center of attention ..... he certainly does have some truths to share, as we all do, Burt the vibe always leaves me with the feeling that HE is more he focus of the show instead of the guests. Some are insanely good , some are twits, but he sill has them on just because they have a recognizable name (for no real reason or talent or intellect)... that 1 influencer women for example-sorry, don't remember her name (rather pretty with dark hair) but a complete Air-head ! So, different from his TV show - where he is not STONED on something..... he does say that this podcast is a release to be uninhibited - relax and let go, but it slides down every time with him into resentment and self-importance. Its like he is really just having a guest there to bounce off of. the stupor doesn't help .... seems like he never learns anything about himself - guess he does not look at them afterwards or even read all the comments like these - which almost all say something similar to mine.
"No one wants to destroy your sweater " Was such a great line !!
Bill I miss seeing you on Friday nights!!!

I needed a VACATION from the MAN who knows EVERYTHING about COVID and Pays ALOT OF TAXES. 😅
I’ve decided the guest chair is shot or too small. Bill is a very small man so it fits his teenage body. But the more normal sized adults seem to struggle in it. I’ve noticed the last few guests, including now John Hamm, and of course the epic Richard Dreyfus episode, it’s just not working. Bill!! Get a new bigger chair for the adults!! 😅😂

Gene Simmons made Bill look like a midget in those chairs.

I think another issue is that longgg pillow on the guest chair

Look at the guest chairs on Real Time..they too are small and stupid. Bill definitely needs a designer and a stylist.

Jennifer what's sad is the pandemic of obesity- that can be cured -no need to take it out on the furniture *
tour of duty lolll Bill is just amazing
Loved that one Mr Bill! Jon Hamm is your ideal guest!
Let's keep it real so the writers are gone and where are the shows?? Nowhere! You're nothing without writers so pay them what they're worth or write for yourself!✌️
Jon Hamm on Eric Andre show and now on Bill Maher, this is what I'm talking about!

Does he mention the Eric interview on this one? Can't wait to see that one at midnight
This was one of the best eps I’ve seen so far. Get Jon Hamm in as regularly as you can! Also, I think I’ve watched Beirut almost every year since its released. It IS a great movie!
I love how Jon keeps interrupting bill giving him a taste of how it feels.😂

It stopped Maher's worst tendencies, but it wasn't annoying to me. They both came across well IMO.
Absolutely love John Hamm's commercial with FLO from progressive insurance . Please do more.
This man was PERFECT in Curb Your Enthusiasm
Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii was the first satellite performance ever to reach a live audience worldwide. Elvis was the bomb.
I always thought Al Franken should run for president. He would win.
Great episode Bill! You guys were great together
Great conversation
Definitely one of the best conversations I've listened to in a long time. It doesn't matter where I'm from. ( I'm an old lady from the East coast.) More importantly, my grown kids are thoughtful, participating citizens!
I would love if bill had on a guest who wasn’t a vote blue no matter who and had an honest conversation about the Democratic Party. I won’t hold my breath
I think Get Smart did the Tequila Mockingbird
Bill needs to get over his fear of therapy. Jon lost his mom at 10 and his dad at 20. He mentioned that his parents were already divorced. I think he got bounced around and had to live with other family members. That can be tough for a child. If he felt he needed therapy Bill should not have questioned it.

It's so interesting that Bill has an aversion to therapy, yet he had a massive reaction to a breakup that happened 50 years ago when he was a teenager. Now imagine if you went through something more serious than a girl breaking your heart. I get it if you don't think it's for you, but don't judge others who choose to do it
Jon Hamm is just a fun, funny, regular guy who is wildly talented. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing him. Very fucking cool!
Hands down, THE best episode of Club Random. A++
"I heard you dont drink anymore." "No, i still do i just took a 15 month hiatus." "Oh!! great! im so glad" LOL best opening lines
