I have watched the MDA Telethon from a very young age, and stayed up all night. I have missed so much watching the Jerry Lewis Telethone, thank you for showing these clips. Jerry Lewis was so dedicated to the cause, the incredible energy he has put into each Telethone every year is amazing. All the hard work of his whole crew, the workload that goes into the preparation of putting this on every year. Fantastic work Jerry Lewis, you will be missed more than you would ever know, RIP Mr. Lewis. Knowing you gave it your all.❤

I was introduced to Sarah Vaughan on the Jerry Lewis Telethon in the early 70's. I remember I was 18 yrs old. It was instant love. As of this writing I'm 65 yrs old and although Sarah died in 1990. I still love her as though she was still here. Thank you thetelethonyears for giving us such great memories.

she did this on Tonight show.. I miss the brass in this... great arrangement but that band really blew it up, and she rode up above it.. as usual.. soaring.. this is a great version though too..

ROTFL @ Jerry asking to do something special with Sammy Davis Jr. Especially when Sammy turns and asks the Audience what they want to hear. Jerry's reaction is priceless. Somehow I don't think Jerry was a fan of The Candyman. 🤣
