Jerry Lewis Telethon - More of Jerry... being Jerry

For your pleasure we have a trip down memory lane to the awesomeness of the classic Labor Day Annual Telethon.
Here we enjoy Jerry being his crazy self with other folks on his annual telethon - from 1982 talking to his lighting director, to 1984 singing with the Tall Cedars, to 1986 with some college kids, to 1990 with Tony Orlando in the middle of the night, and even his crew in 1990, but there's so much more... Enjoy!

Jerry love to mess with people. He was a card. Loved every min of it. There will never be another Jerry ever if one of son tried its not the same. There only one Jerry and he is it. That poor kid Jeff has a hard time talking and Jerry is having a ball messing with him. Love it. I was laughing so hard I was crying. The singing guys he messed with was good one to. They were trying their best to sing and not laugh at him and keep singing. All those kid get with him and have a hard keep from laughing. My fav person in the world is Jerry Lewis. I don't care what his life is about that not for us to know. And what does with it is up to him. He has done so much for MDA and all the time he has done all that time and get all the stars to come and join him and about are older time. And raise all the money all them years. And then do what they to Jerry it all sucks. I have no use for MDA at all. Rip Jerry we all miss you.

I don’t understand all the derogatory remarks from people in these comments....WHY are these people watching if they hated him and thought he was a horrible person? I don’t get it. If I don’t like something...I simply DONT WATCH! To all those who loved Jerry and understands that his private life was his own business...I agree with you. Rest In Peace, Jer.

Its called Social Media... this is one platform as such. Like Facebook, Instagram... and, typically with all these, people can post comments.. and of course the comments are not all going to be cupcakes and roses.... everyone has an opinion, and not everyone is going to comment directly to what the content is. As is the case with this. You dont like it, ignore, or move on.. Just like YOU have a comment, other people do as well.. Dont be so sensitive

After the telethon meant back to school and then Halloween and Thanksgiving then the biggest day in a kids life, the all great Christmas Day. So, you could technically say the Holliday's were started off with the Jerry Lewis Telethon.

Google Jerry Lewis history he was a crazy man ... Abused his 6 sons and his ex wife .He died left them nothing. Left everything to his wife and adopted daughter unbelievable. Had a son was homeless and died on the streets he would not pay for his funeral. He have a daughter that he had in the 50s that’s homeless pushing a buggy around I think in Philadelphia. This man was truly the real life nutty professor.
