I stayed up and watched the whole telethons growing up just to see my all time comedy idol Jerry Lewis RIP sir .. I was 21 in 1986 now at 58 I am blessed with my beautiful wife of 32 years 6 grown kids and 6 grandkids,thank you God..

I donated to MDA for years but it stopped after they decided that 65+ Years of Service Jerry Lewis Gave to the Organization was enough and they kicked him to the Street like he was A bum . Absolutely Ridiculous and you will never get me to believe that his departure was a Mutual thing. Willing to bet Donations went into the crapper after he left

Telethons aren’t fun anymore. My local Children’s Miracle Network telethon sucks; no live music or fun vibes. That’s why I’m pranking radiothons. That interaction between Fred and Jerry is cringe in light of recent events.

Me and my mom watched this every year..she even called in and donated money once in a while..about 20 years later my mom was diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis..weird enough..the MDA gave lots of help and support..about some odd years later I came across this video and was floored..I remember seeing this live as it broadcast back then..my mom cried..she remembered too..3 years ago God called her home..thanks to the MDA..our lives could have been much worse without them
