I'm with everyone else here. How is it I have never seen this guy? I watched Johnny Carson religiously and I missed him every time? He is astoundingly accurate. He doesn't just sound like the actual artist, he LOOKS like them too. The mouth position, the little body jiggles, the facial expression. He must have spent half a lifetime in front of the mirror. Incredible student of these great singers, he should be called a tribute singer. What a talent! Bravo.

@@BobAndersonMusic wow. Can't believe you actually replied. You deserve the praise. I am a professional singer, so Believe me, I understand what all that entails. I sing in a completely different arena, but the rigors of.learning and sound are the same. I am a countertenor (male alto). I have sung in Men and Boys choirs for the better part of 45 years. Nothing like playing Vegas, but I have "played" at many big Cathedrals, lol. The imitations you grew up to learning to sing reminded me of listening to big bands and imitating Sinatra, or my favorite Vaughn Monroe. Unfortunately, those types of singers/songs have mostly gone by the wayside. Anyway, thanks for responding. I did very much enjoy your act, and again bravo at the results. Best I've ever seen!

Bob Anderson did a show I went to last December 11, 2021 at Carnegie Hall in New York City --he did Frank Sinatra's entire typical Las Vegas act, including some of Sinatra's most famous monologue jokes. It was marvelous! I have been to hundreds of "live" Frank Sinatra concerts in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York City - believe me, this Bob Anderson just nailed it perfectly!

@@cindymcintosh286 There has to be a reason he was not mainstream. He pissed people off, or got caught up in drugs ... something, and I hope I'm wrong. Sinatra never mentioned him, neither did others. He was on Carson that should have been his ticket to superstardom, but it wasn't. Now we need to find out why without the sugarcoating

@@624radicalham Sometimes the subject of an impression does not like it, especially if it is too close to reality. Rich Little did a great Nixon, but the real Nixon was not amused when Little did it in his presence. Little did a perfect Johnny Carson on Carson's show. That was Little's last appearance on the Tonight show. Little never understood why.

He has not let stardom change him. His show on Frank Sinatra was outstanding. Brilliant talent. Love to Bob and Karen.

Partly because music has changed and voices got stronger in the 80's. Now most of it is digitized. If you hear your favorite performer singing live now you'd be disappointed. It's putting a hot face and body on stage to dance and lip sinc.
