Bob Anderson should have been and should be a household name in the field of entertainment, WHAT A PHENOMENAL TALENT.🎼🎤🎼
My all time favorite Las Vegas act. Whether it b Dean Martin and Ray Charles singing Sleigh Ride as a duet or Johnny Mathis singing Over The Weekend, Bob Anderson nails every nuance of every performer. It goes without saying, that as himself, he is a fantastic vocalist. Genius.
Why did he never get a recording contract ???...He is a killer singer !!!!

Harry....I ask myself that question all the time. I have no idea other than the fact that a very well known television star named Merv Griffin turned me into an impressionist at a very young age and my act as an impressionist became a big hit. In no time I was performing on Merv Griffin show, Mike Douglas, Jerry Lewis, David Letterman, Johnny Carson and many other tv appearances around the world. I am going to be putting quite a number of songs that I sang for many years, some that I wrote and others that were well know songs of other stars who made them famous. But, today I am going to start putting them on You Tube and other places on line. I hope you take a look at them and tell me what you think. God bless.... Bob Anderson

I met Bob Anderson in 1995 when I was performing in a production of Guys & Dolls with Jack Jones, Maureen McGovern and another brilliant impersonator in the late great Frank Gorshin. Bob was playing in the lounge of the Desert Inn and Frank introduced me to him, and have been friends ever since. I've seen him perform probably one hundred times, he never disappoints.

@@DDumbrille Perhaps I was a little overly effusive. You're right about those three. When he - as Dean Martin - stared into the camera at the end of the song, it seemed like he molded his face into Dean's. I had not heard of Bob before. As a Briton I can tell you he gets Tom Jones’ speaking voice spot on, usually impressionists exaggerate his Welsh accent but Bob doesn’t need to, he can hear it and replicate it exactly. His Sinatra is indistinguishable from the original and his Sammy Davis Jr, he doesn’t even need to sing, the posture alone is brilliant.
