    What about the chapters before which says Israel is my servant? Why do u deny that? Im an ex christian, i know how christians cherry pick verses to fit jesus everywhere in tanakh where he doesnt belong. The meaning of messiah/christ is anointed one, jesus was never anointed , jesus was not son of joseph who is so called descendant of david, jesus dint bring peace (theres been more violence and wars because of jesus or after jesus came), the messiah's role is to point to the true god YHWH (not to himself)

    Actually you just need to read it. But you do need to read it in the original language or at least with a decent translation. When I see how Christian Bibles have massacred and molested and mangled clear texts because it doesn't sound exactly the way they wanted to sound it is sad beyond measure. Because people read these translations and think to themselves well how can Jews not believe in Jesus can't they see it's right here. And when we try to come back and gently explain that you've been deceived people get upset. Okay so I think we just need to agree to disagree. When the true Messiah comes the knowledge of God will cover the earth. Christians always want to know well how Jews know when their Messiah arrives. The answer is very clear. The whole world will be changed they will be no doubt that we have entered the Messianic age. So until then no acrobatics just plain reading. But it is kind of tiring when Christians who cannot even read Hebrew tell us what our Bible really means... Isaiah was a Jew speaking to Jews. We know exactly what Isaiah meant. The fact that Christians didn't like that message and had to deliberately change it is beyond our control. But you have the opportunity to spend the next 6 months of your life learning some basic Hebrew. If you do that you will no longer talk about obstacles you'll be asking for directions to the nearest synagogue...

    @@davidkatz341 Since I posted this I've studied my transliteration Bible and answered these questions: if Jesus is the final sacrifice once and for all then why are we returning to animal sacrifices mentioned in Daniel and Ezekiel? If Jesus was born of a virgin how can he be the Son of Man? This observation: The "old testament" is clear that Gog will be from Greece and the new testament was written in Greek. How can Jesus be the Messiah of it's clear that the Messiah will sprout or resurrect, bring peace and build the temple from which the fountain of life comes from. The so called proof passages for Jesus were mistranslations and misunderstandings. How can anyone understand the command to pick up your cross daily? It's too subjective. The miss quotes in the new treatments when they refer to the Tanakh. I've always disagreed with Paul, so I just took that a bit further.

    I was born Jewish. The very first time I read Issiah 52 and 53, I was stunned - I knew in my heart the truth. This confused me as it's not what my Rabbi said to me later. So I took what the Rabbi said and went back to read those passages again. I tried as hard as I could to believe what I was told by the Rabbi while reading the passage - it was impossible to do. I tried over and over to read that passage and only think about the Rabbi's explanation of the verse - every time, this was impossible for me to do. My mind would be grabbed by a force too strong for me to control and my mind would remove the false explanation from the Rabbi and insert The Messiah into each line of words which I read. I figured I better drop all religions, stop listening to others, and start getting my information only from GOD - Thank GOD, that worked.

    The Prophecies Jesus Fulfilled in Isaiah 53 The prophecy technically starts at the tail end of Isaiah 52 but takes up the whole of Isaiah 53. Let’s break the prophetic verses down and show how Jesus’ life matched these: Isaiah 53:2 talks about how this suffering servant had no beauty or majesty to attract others to him. Although Jesus was likely not deformed in appearance, he wasn’t the most beautiful human being to walk the earth. Isaiah 53:3 discusses how mankind despised and rejected this servant. In the same way, Jesus’ audience rejected him because his message was too difficult to digest, and eventually killed him for it. Isaiah 53:4-5 Through his suffering, he takes our place and heals us. This really wouldn’t work in terms of the Old Testament prophets. Although they did suffer, Israel wasn’t healed by their wounds. Alternatively, by Jesus’ wounds, we are healed. Isaiah 53:7 He doesn’t open his mouth in the face of execution. When on trial, Jesus doesn’t answer (Matthew 27:14) any of the charges. Isaiah 53:9 Assigned a grave with the wicked and in the rich with his death. He dies alongside two thieves (the wicked), but Joseph of Arimathea buried him in a tomb (the rich). The passage goes on, each highlighting Christ’s life first, but Isaiah 53 makes it clear that no one else fulfills the role of suffering servant quite like Jesus did.

    None of the prophecies in the Jewish bible about the messiah who inherits the tribe of David applies to Jesus because Jesus had no biological father. The only way a Jewish son can inherit a tribe in Judaism today and 2000 years ago in the time of Jesus and 3300 years ago in the time of Moses is through your biological father. . Jesus is Jewish because his mother is Jewish however Jesus inherits no tribe because Jesus has no biological father which is the only way tribe is inherited by a Jewish son. . A Jewish son cannot choose a tribe and a Jewish son cannot change their tribe. A Jewish woman who marries a non Jew will produce a Jewish son who inherits no tribe. A Jewish woman who has a virgin birth will produce a Jewish son who inherits no tribe. A Jewish woman who has a virgin birth and a non biological Jewish father will produce a Jewish son who inherits no tribe. . It is because Jesus inherits no tribe that Jews today know that the claim that Jews 2000 years ago said Jesus was from the house of David was written by people who did not know that a son without a biological father inherits no tribe in Judaism. . Today most Christians do not know that a Jewish son from a virgin birth meaning without a biological father inherits no tribe in Judaism. . All prophecies about the messiah from David mentioned in the Jewish bible do not apply to anyone who did not have a biological father because they inherit no tribe in Judaism. . All prophecies about the messiah from David mentioned in the Jewish bible do not apply to anyone who did not descend from a biological father through the messiah king David and through the messiah king Solomon because it is a promise which God said God will not change. . Deuteronomy 13:7 If your brethren (who is), the son of your mother (meaning a Jew because it is through the mother that the religion of Judaism is passed on), …” Note 1. The religion of Judaism is passed from the mother to her biological children. Note 2. The religion of Judaism is not passed on from the male to his biological children. . Numbers 1:18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families (to trace their genealogy to a tribe), by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, each one from twenty years old and upward. Note 1. Jesus came from a virgin birth meaning Jesus had no biological father meaning Jesus was born as a Jew without tribal inheritance because he had no biological father meaning Jesus has no biological connection to King David. Note 2. In Judaism a tribe is inherited only through the biological father and not through a mother like Mary or through a non-biological adopted father like Joseph. Note 3. In Judaism a tribe cannot be chosen but is inherited through the biological father. . Psalm 132:11 The Lord (God) has sworn to David in truth, from which He (God) will never turn back (meaning God will never change His mind in the matter of the following decree), "Of the fruit of your body (meaning from the biological descendants of King David) I (God) shall seat on your (King David’s) throne. Note 1. The promise of God which will never be cancelled is that from the messiah (anointed) King David Dawud will descend a king on the throne of David biologically from “the fruit of your body.” . 1 Kings 9:5 then I will establish your (King Solomon’s) throne over Israel for ever; as I promised to David your father, saying: There shall not fail to be a successor (who is a biological descendant of messiah King David through messiah King Solomon) on the throne of Israel. Note 1. Forever means that there will always be biological descendants of messiah King David through messiah King Solomon who can be the messiah who is promised in Tanakh. Note 2. The seed of David will descend biologically through Solomon forever meaning the messiah described in Tanakh must have a biological father because inheritance of the House of David is through your biological father. . 2 Samuel 7:12 When your (David Dawud) days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I (God) will set up your seed after you, that shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. Note 1. The biological seed God set up after messiah David is messiah Solomon meaning the throne of David is through the children who descend from messiah David and the seed where God said “I (God) will set up your seed after you” which is messiah Solomon because Solomon is the seed after David who God set up as the seed after David on the throne of David as promised in 2 Samuel 7:12-.2 Samuel 7:13. . 2 Samuel 7:13 He (Solomon Sulaiman) shall build a house (the First Temple) for My name, and I will establish the throne of his (Solomon’s Sulaiman’s) kingdom for ever. Note 1. The promise that will never be cancelled in Psalm 132:11-132:12 given to the biological descendants of messiah (anointed) King David Dawud that is passed to his seed that God set up in 2 Samuel 7:12 is forever in 2 Samuel 7:13 meaning biological descendants to the throne of messiah David Dawud through messiah Solomon Sulaiman which God set up is a promise that will be honoured by God forever meaning God will never change this promise. . 2 Samuel 7:14 I (God) will be to him (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) for a father, and he (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) shall be to Me (God) for a son; if he (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) commit wrong doing, I (God) will punish him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men; . Note 1. The messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman is the son of God means the servant of God. Note 2. God will be his father and the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 3. If the messiah does wrong then God will punish him like a father punishes his son. Note 4. The messiah anointed King David Dawud is the son of God means the servant of God. Note 5. God will be his father and the messiah anointed King David Dawud will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 6. If the messiah does wrong then God will punish him like a father punishes his son. Note 7. Every messiah is the son of God meaning the servant of God. Note 8. God will be his father and the messiah will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 9. Isaiah 53:1-53:8 The nations and kings of the earth are speaking. Isaiah 53:1 The nations and kings are startled when they hear who God has raised up. Yeshua is all over the Tanakh! Joseph compares to Jesus. You will see how he was a prophetic portrait of the Messiah around 2000 years BC (Before Christ). You will see evidence of how Joseph's life displayed Yeshua (Jesus) in the Torah (First 5 books written by Moses). His story takes up over 25 percent of the book of Genesis. Why? Joseph the Father's most favored son, he also had prophetic dreams from God, that showed all of Israel bowing down to him. Later he was sent out of Hebron (Means Fellowship) to his brothers, the shepherds of the fathers flock. He found them at Dothan which means "Laws and Customs". That is exactly what Jesus, God the son did, he left fellowship with the Father, and found the shepherds of Israel leading the flock into the laws and customs. His brothers conspired to murder him, sold him for pieces of silver, and handed him over to the Gentiles. Later, he was falsely accused and put down into the place of the condemned. But, he was raised up out of that place, and brought before the throne. It was there that only he was found worthy, he was made the right hand man to the throne, and given a Gentile Bride. Later, during the seven year time of great trouble, the famine over all the face of the earth, his brothers come back to him. They thought he was long gone, out of their lives, but then they find out that HE IS ALIVE! They were afraid, but then Joseph tells them not to be afraid, that they meant it for evil, but God meant it for good to save many people. HE THEN SAVES ALL OF ISRAEL.

    Israel isn’t the righteous servant spoken of by Isaiah in chapter 53 of his book. It is written: “… for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” The people of Israel aren’t stricken for the people of Israel. His righteous servant is stricken for the people of Israel. Jeremiah rightly said that the shepherds of Israel - their Rabbi’s and leaders - have brought upon Israel all of the judgements that have fallen upon his people since the Temple was destroyed (Jeremiah 50:6). When the blind lead the blind, both will wander from the way.

    @@anti_missionary_missioneither way does it really matter? In the Book of John chapter 15 Jesus said I am in the father and the father is in me and "WE" are one! And it's not only the Book of John where Jesus constantly talks about God the father, Jesus the Son and the Holy spirit. This is why God is one. 3 in 1. And when Jesus was resurrected which by the way 100 % provable with over 500+ eyewitness accounts backed up with historical documented evidence outside of the New Testament... and not just by christians. Buy actual historians who were not Jewish and did not believe in christianity. So in other words they had no skin in the game and we're just simply telling the straight facts. Jesus constantly said if you've seen me you have seen the father. Jesus also said man looks at the outward appearance while God looks at the heart. Sadly the Jewish people keep looking at an outward expression of God when it has already been given. Jesus is the kingdom of god. They just simply don't see it yet. But they will because the Bible says they will. God will collect his chickens under his wing and one day he will open their eyes. One day they really really will see Jesus as the Messiah that they have been waiting for. He will appear to them and he will show them that he is in the father and the father is in him and that after his resurrection the promise of the father was to send the Holy Spirit to live within us so we could be with one with god.

    @@anti_missionary_mission You’ve built on a false foundation, the root of Christianity is not Jesus is God… that’s a post Nicene doctrine. It’s also provable that Jesus clearly is a separate being to the Father and also holds different authority.. So don’t tar Christianity with the trinity brush, the trinity is false and always has been, it’s not the foundations of Christianity The decree of Nicea was to declare that the Son is not a creature, nor begotten at a point in time form the Father, but is "eternally begotten" from the Father. The term eternally begotten is an oxymoron in and of itself and the concept did not exist in the first few centuries prior to Nicea, yet the "eternal begetting of the Son" is an essential delusion for those who hold to the post nicene trinity articulation. The majority of the church in the 21st century has no idea that the ancient predominant view of the relationship between God and Christ was undermined and changed through decisions made at the councils Nicea and Constantinople. The irony is this causes modern Christians to be ignorant to the fact that the beliefs of church fathers like Ireneaeus, who was just one generation removed from Jesus closest disciple John, was undermined.

    @@CountryGospel101 The violent side of Jesus: The Gospels record a number of instances where Jesus did commit acts of violence. Whip in hand, causing a fracas, he attacked the merchants in the Temple area (Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15-16, Luke 19:45, John 2:15). He destroyed a fig tree for not having fruit out of season (Matthew 21:18-21, Mark 11:13-14). Even in times of war its forbidden to cut this tree. He caused the death, by drowning, of a herd of swine by allowing demons to purposely enter their bodies (Matthew 8:32, Mark 5:13, Luke 8:33). All New Testament applications of Isaiah 53 to Jesus presume a literal fulfillment. A literal application to Jesus of the phrase “he had done no violence” is not possible. The Gospels inadvertently indicate that forms of violence were perpetrated by Jesus. By the very fact that an individual committed violent acts, even if they can be justified, he does not qualify as one having done no violence. These are acts of violence under any circumstance and if applied literally to an individual that person could not be the fulfillment of verse Jesus’ acts of violence demonstrate that he did not literally fulfill this description of the servant as prescribed by the New Testament citations of Isaiah 53. On the other hand, Israel as a corporate entity has, in the overall course of its history, sought to avoid violence Christians provide novel reasons for Jesus’ destructive actions, but they still remain acts of violence. All the excuses cannot hide the fact that these violent acts disqualify Jesus from being the servant.

    *The key to understanding Isaiah 53 and who/what it’s about is in the first line which says: “to whom has the Arm of the Lord been revealed”* What does it mean by ‘the Arm of the Lord’? Throughout scripture we see reference to Gods ‘’mighty Arm’ or his ‘Right Arm’ which refers to Gods power/strength - but if we take a closer look at the text, the Arm of the Lord is actually a distinct ‘entity’ or ‘person’ for lack of better word. The Angel of YHVH is the Arm of the Lord, God’s presence manifested. If we read Isaiah 40:10 it says: “Behold, the Lord YHVH rules with might, and *His arm shall rule for him* , behold his reward is with him” Pay particular attention to “His arm rules for him” this shows that the arm is the one that rules for YHVH, his own arm rules for him. To be sure that the Arm is a distinctly identifiable ‘character’, we look to Isaiah 51, Isaiah 51:9 “Awake, awake, arm of the Lord,
 clothe yourself with strength!
Awake, as in days gone by,
 as in generations of old.
Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces,
 who pierced that monster through? Was it not you who dried up the sea,
 the waters of the great deep,
who made a road in the depths of the sea
 so that the redeemed might cross over?” Again, Isaiah 63:12 “ who sent his glorious arm of power
 to be at Moses’ right hand,
who divided the waters before them,
 to gain for himself everlasting renown” Here, we see God sent his ‘Arm of power’ to be at Moses right hand - if we look back to the scriptures to see who was sent by Moses, Exodus 23:20 says: “Behold, I send my angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him” Here we see that God is send an ‘Malak’ ahead of Moses to lead the way for him, so this is the right Arm being referred to in Isaiah 63:12, and remember, this Angel bare the divine name of YHVH which is why God says he can forgive sin, this is God’s very presence, his divine name carries his presence. If we are In doubt about this ‘Malak’ (Angel/messenger) which is referred to as God’s ‘glorious arm of power’, Exodus 33:14 “The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” So we see that God’s Angel that was sent to be at Moses’ side is the ‘glorious arm of power’ and ‘his presence’ according to Isaiah 63:12 and Exodus 33:14. Further in Isaiah 63 it says Isaiah 63:8-9 “He said, “Surely they are my people,
 children who will be true to me”;
 and so he became their Savior. In all their distress he too was distressed,
 and the angel of his presence saved them.” So you see - the Arm of the Lord is the one that brings salvation, God’s very own arm… as it is written: *Psalm 98:1-2* Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the gentiles (nations).

    The explanation after "Who is speaking?" is not convincing. Gentile kings are not speaking at all, rather they kept their mouth shut as Is 52:15 says. Further in Isaiah 63 it says Isaiah 63:8-9 “He said, “Surely they are my people,
 children who will be true to me”;
 and so he became their Savior. In all their distress he too was distressed,
 and the angel of his presence saved them.” So you see - the Arm of the Lord is the one that brings salvation, God’s very own arm… as it is written: *Psalm 98:1-2* Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the gentiles (nations).

The in nearly every book of the Old Testament, we read Israel rebelled, and God let them be destroyed like other nations because they wanted to behave like other nations. Israel’s demand for a king, fractured the nation from the beginning, and sowed the seeds of its own destruction. Their own inequities, despite God’s objection, caused them to stumble. So how can Israel be righteous? How can Israel have died due to others inequities, when their own inequities sowed their own fall? “Again the Israelites did evil in the LORD's sight, so the LORD handed them over to the Philistines, who oppressed them for forty years.” -Judges 1:13 It’s clear as day. Israel did not lose because their enemies were corrupt and sinful. No nation can overpower God’s hand. They were only defeated because God had removed his hand from them.

    The Servant is not Israel Rashi (Rabbi Shlomo Itzchaki, 1040-1105) and some of the later rabbis, though, interpreted the passage as referring to Israel. They knew that the older interpretations referred it to Messiah. However, Rashi lived at a time when a degenerate medieval distortion of Christianity was practiced. He wanted to preserve the Jewish people from accepting such a faith and, although his intentions were sincere, other prominent Jewish rabbis and leaders realized the inconsistencies of Rashi’s interpretation. They presented a threefold objection to his innovation. First, they showed the consensus of ancient opinion. Secondly, they pointed out that the text is in the singular. Thirdly, they noted verse eight. This verse presented an insurmountable difficulty to those who interpreted this passage as referring to Israel. It reads: He was taken away from rule and from judgment; and his life who shall recount? for he was cut off out of the land of the living; through the transgressions of my people was he stricken. Were the Jewish people, God forbid, ever cut off out of the land of the living? No! In Jeremiah 31:35-37, God promised that we will exist forever. We are proud that Am Yisrael Chai-”The people of Israel are much alive.” Likewise, it is impossible to say that Israel suffered for the transgressions of “my people,” which clearly means Isaiah’s people. Surely Isaiah’s people are not the Gentiles, but the Jews.

Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider. This leads us into chapter 53 continuing to talk about the servant of God the Messiah. Chapter 53 was considered a clear messianic prophecy in: The Zohar, the Midrash Konen, by Rabbi Yitzhak Abravanel and Midrash Shumel. Midrash Shumel says this about Isaiah 53: “The suffering was divided into three parts: One for the generation of the Patriarchs, one for the generation of Shmad, and one for the King Messiah”. The prayers for Yom Kippur, the ones we all know also relates Isaiah 53 to the Messiah.

I guess The Zohar, the Midrash Konen, by Rabbi Yitzhak Abravanel and Midrash Shumel were also incredibly ignorant like the Christians he attempts to discredit (Sarcasm). But he never likes to talk about his own teachers/history being "wrong" in regard to these chapters describing the Massiah. It's glaringly dishonest for Jewish rabbis to teach these passages were about the Massiah and then retroactively change their interpretation once they're faced with the reality of who Jesus is. And then stop teaching these passages in the synagogues. Intellectual dishonesty in the purest sense.

    Isaiah 53 is not spoken by kings. It is spoken by the people of Zion/ Israel/ Jerusalem described in Isaiah 52:1 when they see and recognize the Son of God - Jesus on his return. Compare the parallels between Isaiah 52/53 and Zechariah 12 in the TANAKH. Both the prophesies reveal 1) Deliverance of Israel/ Jerusalem by our Almighty Father at the end times, 2) Return of a 'glorified person' who was once rejected and trampled in Jerusalem, 3) Recognition of the above 'eminent person' by the inhabitants of Jerusalem/ Israel, 4) Surprise/ mourning of inhabitants of Jerusalem/ Israel for their mistake, and 5) Forgiveness and opportunity of purification for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Isaiah 52:14, 53:3/5/7/8/9/11/12 clearly identifies that Isaiah 53 is describing a person and not any nation or a collective body. Again, Isaiah 53:6 thru 12 without leaving any doubts clarifies that the person spoken about suffered and died because of the transgressions of others. And most significantly, in Zechariah 12:10, our Almighty Father Himself identifies above 'glorious person' as His only son - the First-born. Who would qualified to be the glorious/ eminent person described in the above prophesies except Jesus?

I was kind of taught that the whole bible was dictated word for word by God's inspiration no matter who wrote it or when. I like how you explain things. It doesn't make me want to believe in that God or any other known God. But I like getting an interpretation from someone who understands it from the perspective of the religion that Christianity spawned from. And not another American Christian apologist. How did God save Jesus from death when everyone saw Jesus die on the cross? D. What is the message Jesus delivered after God saved Jesus from death on the cross? E. Why did God make Jesus, Jonah and Isaac believe they would die and then save them? A. Jesus showed he did not die on the cross. Three days after the crucifixion Jesus said in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father” meaning Jesus has not yet died because Jesus has not yet ascended to God meaning God saved the life of Jesus.. . B. Jesus showed he was not resurrected from the dead. Paul said Jesus gave him the following revelation. 1 Corinthians 15:35 “How are the dead raised (resurrected) in what kind of body will they (the resurrected dead) come? . 1 Corinthians 15:44 It is raised (resurrected) a spiritual body (however 3 days after the crucifixion Jesus showed that his body was a physical body which Mary could touch and by eating food and showing nail marks on his hand and a wound on his side to his disciples meaning Jesus showed he was not a resurrected spiritual body but was saved from death on the cross by falling into sleep on the cross and waking up after 3 days in his physical body in the same way as other people who appeared to be dead were only sleeping in their physical body in Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping", Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..." and the Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping". ” … and Gospel of Luke 8:54 - 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned). . Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:35 and 1 Corinthians 15:44 said that the resurrected come in a spiritual not a physical body meaning the physical body of Jesus 3 days after the crucifixion shows Jesus was not resurrected from death but woke up from sleep in his physical body as foreshadowed before the crucifixion in Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24 and Gospel of Luke 8:52 where sleep looked like death to everyone. . C. How did God save Jesus from death when everyone saw Jesus die on the cross? God can make people see and believe whatever God wills for example there are stories in the Gospel where people who know Jesus are talking to him like Mary in Gospel of John 20:15 who is asking a man if he has seen the body of Jesus and she does not recognise that she is talking to Jesus which shows how God can make people see and believe whatever God wants people to see and believe and explains how God saved the life of Jesus by making everyone believe Jesus was dead on the cross To make Jesus fall asleep on the cross so that everyone believes Jesus was dead is the same thing that happened to Jonah when everyone believed Jonah was dead but Jonah was also saved by God. God saved Jesus from death like God saved Isaac from death and like God saved Jonah from death. . D. What is the message Jesus delivered after God saved Jesus from death on the cross? Jesus was saved on the cross with sleep and woke up in his physical body after 3 days to tell everyone that he has not yet ascended to God meaning he has not yet died meaning he was not sacrificed for anyone’s sins and Jesus in this same verse continues explaining that he is not God in Gospel of John 20:17 when Jesus says he will go to "my Father (The creator) and your Father (The creator); to my God (my Lord) and your God (your Lord)," meaning Jesus is teaching that he is human like every human and he is not God like every human is not God. . E. Why did God make Jesus, Jonah and Isaac believe they would die and then save them? Every human is tested by God. In the Gospel of Mark 15:34 and Gospel of Matthew 27:46 Jesus showed that he did not lose his trust in God when Jesus on the cross said “My God my God why have you forsaken me?’ and this is when God saved Jesus with sleep and woke up Jesus 3 days later to show that God does not forsake people who put their trust in God in the same way as Jonah was saved because he did not lose his trust in God and in the same way as Isaac was saved because he did not lose his trust in God.

For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.” This is where someone os being introduced as a not alike a human, nations will be astonished, He will be exalted, then go and read chapter 53. The same is true in Psalm 110. There is the name of G-d and then a very different word which means master. Christians translate the two words both as Lord. It's outrageous. Psalm 110 begins with these two Hebrew words: לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר The lamed in front of the name of King David means of. So it says of David, a Psalm. It is about King David not by King David. But if you look on line on Google all the apologetics says otherwise. Oh and it's Psalm 2 the proper translation is not kiss the Son but to serve with purity. I am grateful to have encountered Rabbi Tovia Singer in my lifetime. I realize now that I was MUCH smarter than I ever considered myself...actually I thought very little of my grasp of information, especially ideas that weren't so clear to a young boy growing up in the 60's and 70's. Thanks in part to Rabbi Singer, I no longer view myself as a religious dummy. :) Had he been my teacher back then, I pretty sure that I would have followed Tanach (and Talmud) much more fervently. Some points of interest as well as a critical question for all Jews: The Hebrew scriptures foretold that Jerusalem and its temple would be destroyed, not once, but twice. The first destruction of Jerusalem and its temple occurred in 607 B.C.E. It was also foretold that Jerusalem would be rebuilt and that there would be a spiritual revival and a return to true worship. History shows that this did indeed occur. However, Daniel 9:26 prophecied that the temple would be destroyed a 2nd time. Here is what it says in the 2nd part of Daniel 9:26 "“And the people of a leader who is coming will destroy the city and the holy place......." The history of the 2nd destruction of Jerusalem and the holy temple shows that "a leader who is coming" was the Roman general Titus and that the 2nd destruction of Jerusalem and its temple occurred in 70 C.E. Note, however, what the first part of Daniel 9:26 says "“And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off...." Wait a minute....according to what Daniel 9:26 says and what history proves, Jerusalem and its temple would be destroyed a second time in 70 C.E., some 35 years after the death of Jesus Christ. Not only that, according to Daniel 9:26, the Messiah would be cut off first, before the 2nd destruction of Jerusalem and its temple! So here is the question. If, according to what is stated at Daniel 9:26, the Messiah is cut off before the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple in 70 C.E. why are Jews still waiting for the Messiah?

    Who is cut off? Christians also incorrectly translated the Hebrew v'ayn Lo ~, at the end of Daniel 9:26. They translate it that he will be cut off “but not for himself,” as if it refers to someone being cut off not for himself but cut off for us and indicating a form of vicarious attainment. However, nowhere in the Jewish bible are these words translated as “not for himself.” The Hebrew means “and he will be no more” literally “and no more of him” and indicates the finality of his demise. A similar usage of v'ayn Lo where it is translated “no one”. can be found in Jeremiah 50:32 “The proud one shall stumble and fall, with no one to raise him up. Here it refers to the demise of Babylon and has the same connotation that after the identified individual’s demise there will be no one to continue his rule. Interestingly the Hebrew word kares translated as “cut off” biblically refers to someone who has sinned so grievously that they are put to death by heavenly decree as a divine punishment for their own transgressions.

    Well they can’t get to the “gospel” because it’s an unclear message! Can anything unclear become doctrine and come from God? Who’s perfect she doesn’t lie and doesn’t trick people or make things difficult to find! Problem is there’s no prophecy of the virgin birth or God needing to send himself to die for a blood sacrifice. Even when you “study” the new test like a scholar would, not like a Christian does (pray about it and read it all into one big story) Because the Christians were not all lock step actually most disagree with each other on what they believe! Peter and Paul didn’t agree on the gospel message 🤷🏼‍♂️… and yet Paul being so prideful in what he says claims he’s the one who’s right here.. not Peter, the one who Jesus trusted the gospel to and Peter got to learn directly from Jesus himself!! Yet prideful Paul says he’s right. It’s frustrating to figure this all out sir.. and I have to ask myself if it’s so hard to figure out and I clear. Is this even from God? Or something that was created by man and anytime an issue or contradiction pops up they try to put a bandaid over it. The new test is FULL of bandaids. And that’s not saying the Old Test is perfect either 🤷🏼‍♂️ .. I’ve found my own issues there where God contradicts himself! So I DO NOT SAY anymore that the Bible is perfect and without error and God breathed etc etc..

And AFTER the non Jews see that the Jews were right the whole time, this brings immense healing as we finally are able to connect with the True Indivisible and Incorporeal God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob DIRECTLY. Question for any Jewish here. I'm confused I've just read the God of Abraham was called el shaddai in hebrew. Apparently shaddai means Destroyer? Was the sole purpose of Abraham to destroy all other God's? Was it known as a God destroyer?

    It interesting how some Rabbis try to make it seem like they know something that everyone else does not know. They make Jews so dependent on them that some Jews do not think that they can understand the Tanakh by themselves without the help of Rabbis. Isaiah 53 needs no "deep" interpretation, it is obvious that Isaiah 53 refers to Jesus the Messiah. Isaiah 53 is the scripture that leads to many Jews becoming Messianic Jews.

Fifty years ago I read another rabbi who thoroughly explained why the Suffering Servant is Israel. But like many Catholics & Protestants I was too indoctrinated in Christology and church doctrine, a powerful habit to break.

    Believe your "Rabbis" if you want to be destroyed, my message might sound horrifying, but hopefully it will keep you alive… There must be some sort of consensus among "Rabbis" to teach stuff, there is no way possible two people could have come to the same conclusion. The kings of the nations are not prophets, they can’t prophesy, this is a prophecy (not a poem). Isaiah prophesizing that the kings of the nations would talk about Israel’s remnant saying that God wished to crush them, God’s beloved people was wounded, smitten, oppressed, rejected and cut off from the land of the living for the iniquities of gentile kings and their nations. How unintelligent that is to say; especially when this message is for the house of Israel and addresses its promised redemption. Isaiah is describing that kings would shut their mouths at the Servant (at the righteous knowledgeable Servant), ‘and that which they have not heard they understand’. How in the world does that come to mean that those kings that are being described pass to speak on the next chapter? Sounds like complete nonsense to me... Sadly, some so called "Rabbis" treat the Holy Scriptures as a paper towel not to say the least. They have no respect for God’s Word. What it’s said in the chapter is given diminished importance; their opinions have more weight. This chapter passes from a prophecy to poetry and metaphorical language at the blink of an eye. How laughable. Most Jewish teachers have a defined goal; and that is to hide Immanuel from the Jews. That’s why their opinions are so inconsistent with the Bible. That’s why they have to disagree even with what their Talmudic counterparts wrote regarding Isaiah 53, even those Pharisees acknowledged that the chapter described a suffering Messiah. Modern Pharisees like Tovia claim that Jesus never fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah, they expect immediate peace upon His arrival (but there is a suffering period for the Messiah in which wars continue). You seriously want to know the period in which the Messiah will bring peace? That will happen AFTER the day of the wrath of the Lord! "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” - Psalm 37:9-11 Yes, it will be too late for some people before they realize, unfortunately.

    You know what is intresting is that if you were to debate a Christian and tell them that Jesus didn't bring peace, rather strife. And then you point out the progroms, inquisitions, etc. They would retort that "they weren't 'real' Christians because "love your enemy" "turn the other cheek" etc. Well, they are admitting to the crimes of their nations as being the source of Jewish suffering.
