This topic is very interesting, especially regarding the part where the very young child that regularly suckles the mother became mahram to the family, although they are still under adoption law (no giving parent's name, limited inheritance 1/3 only as a WILL). That will really helps in maintaining the family harmony in the household.

Well I don't think you need to know his father's name if you can't. You just raise the child with love and when he is grown up then he should be told the reality about who you are as I think it's his right to know that you weren't the biological parent

You adopt a child and foster them (breastfeed) and then you have to migrate somewhere. Then you want to take the child with you. You will get a passport made, passport asks for a fathers name in most cases, how do you manage that? You don’t know who the father of the child is. You adopted him/her from the orphanage or hospital… to get a visa you need to submit similar documents as well.

marry her to either of your kids if they are of marrying age. Else just take care of her a sister in faith. You wanna take care of her needs and look after her right. Do it in the form of sadaka.If this also doesnt works marry her yourself if she is okay with it (no forcing should be done here). Basically whoever falls under the category of you/your kids can marry them, its prohibited to be so casual with them so safe to say dont adopt her, take care of her by staying in distance. Allah will reward you and hope she will find a salih husband

So an orphan in Islamic society will always be an orphan with no real family? In Islam, if you are a guardian of a child and don't have any other children nor family members left, can you leave that child everything in your will-since there is nobody else to give your stuff to?

However if its a boy and was Brest fed by the adopted mother then hijab is not needed with the mother. But the hijab will alway be required with the adopted daughter and father. I think this resolves manny issues, including the Fantasy of inappropriate relations with step family members.

according to Surah Ahzab aya 6, you can give them a bequest to show your gratitude and kindness but don’t give it to them as an inheritance since they are not your blood relatives

Dude in Islam even your biological daughter is non mahram to you if she is born out of wedlock. Meaning if you had a daughter with a woman who you are not married to, then that daughter is not "legally" your own daughter. In Islamic law, it is okay for you to marry your own biological daughter just because Islam doesn't recognise the relationship between you two. A lot of things in Islam is freaking messed up and makes zero sense

Slavery was way before islam, if islam prohibited slavery immediately the nobles or anyone with slaves will fight Muhammad peace be upon him, they fought him for less But islam tried to do it slowly, some sins requires freeing slaves to be forgiven, god encouraged Muslims to free as many slaves as they can one of Muhammads friends was a slave before he freed him and gave him an honourable job which is athan some people call it azan (calling for people to pray) I hope i was able to help even with the language barrier

Yes you can help an orphan child by giving your wealth but do not tell them that you are his/her real mother. You can love him/her like a real mother.

I think your case if different this is your own biological son and the person you married is supposed to be father of your child in Islam. It's not adopted child. Islam is easy unlike many people might think. Don't make it difficult for you. Of course he can pray for both of you and is responsible to take care of you both. Usually if your new husband raises your biological child he will be the real father to your child.

correct hijab not required then. there may be circumstances when the adopted child can be feeded. for eg say when the mother had her own child but it died . then the milk will not stop from being produced then she can breastfeed the adopted child. also when the woman never became mother, then also she can breastfeed her adopted child from her sister who maybe a milk producing.

Stealing someone's DNA is stealing nonetheless by any other name. A mother who takes care and is not the birth mother is no doubt worthy of enormous reward but Allah respects biological motherhood and biological fatherhood. Reason? Why does Allah ask for so much respect for himself? Because he is our total Creator. Why does he say that Paradise lies at the feet of a mother? Because although human mothers are only a receptable for the baby he respects that they are nonetheless a sub-creator hence he demands that their DNA be acknowledged and respected. If the birth parents were not worthy of being good parents, that is Allah's domain and he will deal with them as is just to deal with them. However you cannot undo that a child was born to such and such. You can't unsee it, you can't undo it. Hope this explains it.

But if we adopt any baby we can't call him with his real parents name because we adopt them so that we can give them parents love and we have anyone who can call us his parent....its wrong If we reveal that we are not his real parents ...his heart will broke.. and he will be under a huge depression... It’s shouldn’t have been a secret from the beginning, it’s a blessing that a child has found a family or a person who wanted to take them and make them part of the family! You don’t have to constantly remind the child that he’s adopted cuz that would be weird and make it sound as if you’re trying to remind them that they’re not your actual child, but once they can understand family relationships around 7 or 8 years of age I think they should be told so that one day when they’re too old they don’t get their heart broken and realize that what they had perceived as reality is only an illusion! Unless there is some obvious differences like you adopt a child that's of a different race than you are where they would conclude that there something abnormal about the look of his family for example if the child is the only black person in the family then they’re already probably wondering why he sticks out in physical appearance and might come to the conclusion on its own if they understand the concept of adoption! This video is nonsense anyways! You don’t become family just biologically if you have raised a child from whatever age just like you would raise your own biological child, wouldn’t you call it your son/daughter just like how it’s universally understood? And not just a way of western costumes! So there’s nothing wrong w this idea of make the child a sibling in faith instead of child, especially if the child has no family history for whatever reason! And the mother having to wear a hijab when the adopted son is grown is so dumb, how is your child supposed to ever consider you as a potential wife when you have raised him just like a mom that’s disgusting! Same thing with the adopted daughter having to wear a hijab around the adoptive father or brothers, why would you consider the man who raised u as a father figure one day be a potential husband? The brother is debatable but still really weird! And why would you call your adopted child a brother or sister in faith instead of your child none of this make any actual reasonable sense! And your conscious is already telling you there’s something weird about all this nonsense! Time to look into maybe Christianity where it actually doesn’t have all these weird restrictions! Fist of all what if their adopted girl choses not to wear a hijab? I thought it was optional and not forced on the girls, so then what if she chooses not to vail herself or dress modestly? Same thing w the mother! 🤨And didn’t Mohammad adopt a child and then (marry his adopted child’s wife) is that why now all the sudden adoption was prohibited in a sense of actually family relational way? just so that theses types of weird and inappropriate behaviors can be justified? Orphan But don't give names as he/ she are real parents. No inheritance Only bequeth 1//3 If female. Must follow pardah before adopted father . Adoption is not permitted in the personal laws of Muslims in India, and hence they usually go for guardianship of a child through the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.

You know what? I'm gonna adopt 5 to 6 children rather than producing the same. And also give them my name. This orthodox concept of haram adoption does not apply to me. They never gonna know that they are even adopted. I'll bring them up as my own children.

Because it is a form of stealing - no different from disembowelling someone who is in advanced pregnancy and taking that child calling it your own. For the 100th time, you CANNOT claim somebody else's DNA. You will get tremendous rewards for sponsoring an orphan and treating it with utmost kindness but you CANNOT claim that child as your own. Simply not allowed. You are not allowed to propagate a lie to the world at large.

Christina here and this- look, you can have whatever beliefs you want, but when you try to say they apply to someone else's don't be surprised when they note stark contrasts like this. Muslims say the Bible was corrupted, subtly so no one noticed- which doesn't really work with extreme differences like this. The old testament says repeatedly that the messiah was to be born of a virgin and yet be in the Davidic line, which is inherited through the paternal (ie male) line. Under Islamic law this is entirely impossible. Joseph, under Islam, was not Jesus' real father and so Jesus could not be the messiah- no one could EVER be as this simple prohibition would annihilate any possibility of a messiah as outlined in the old testament. The Messiah would HAVE to be adopted. And things only get worse form there as Jesus' entire ministry throughout the gospels relied on the idea of adopting men and women into the family of God. This ministry is continued by his followers and at no point is anyone unclear- the Christian hope is in full legal adoption. And yes, I am aware of the jeering Muslim response that there's no physical reality behind the concept of legal adoption- but what meaning does the term "father" even have if all it really entails is one night of fun? If you're saying a man can run off into the night like a ghost and be as good as dead to his family, and yet keep his title- then I don't see what value that title has anyway.

So all benefits and special treatments goes to only fruiting tree

I know how it feels when one seems to be abstained from having a certain blessing, the heart aches so much. But when Allah decides to not give a person a certain blessing, He SWT only intends to elevate that person's rank in the hereafter. The HARDER the test, the GREATER the reward. Be patient and Allah Azzawajal will reward you with something unthinkably massive in the hereafter. 🤍

You can adopt the child but you can't give your own name you have no right to give your own name to someone's children

That child is your responsibility but is NEVER FULLY YOURS no matter how much you may declare that it is and by giving your name you are spreading a falsehood in society because others will believe that the child is yours biologically. What is not yours CAN NEVER BE YOURS - stop arguing and accept what is plain commonsense.

I think we all are you're also not allowed to have a dog as a pet in Islam but you might be allowed to have it as a guard dog but the prophet had all dogs killed even now there are no dogs there but some of these imans and doctors will gk on about if it's allowed to have a dog so who's is right them or the prophet

Do not canvass advice from non-Muslims please - they are mostly enemies of Islam. Look at their societies. Do you want to take advice from those covered head to toe in tattoos and from societies where they sleep with strangers on a serial basis? Only ask learned scholars of Islam this question. The answer is NO, a resounding NO. I don't care if you are a working woman, I too am a practising singe Muslim female and the reason I am saying you cannot adopt is that a child needs a mother and a father. Question why you want a child? It is all to do with ego. If Allah means you to have your own child, you will or else find other outlets. Work with kids if you love them and let them go back to their families at the end of the day. Allah has chosen certain road maps for some and other road maps for others. Read the Quran with meaning: It says children can be a fitnah, children are of the dunya, it says wealth and children are of the dunya and it also says "don't tell me about your wealth and about your children, just tell me about your good deeds". Please read the Quran with meaning. Real life is yet to come. In the west almost 80% plus of adopted children take their adopted parents to court (research it if you don't believe me) and therein you can see that Allah has perfect knowledge and declares rules for very sound reasons. Don't listen to non-Muslims please. They will tell you anything.

This is horrible, to people who can’t have children. Your child can’t have the same name as you. When you die, your extended blood family can take your adopted child’s inheritance. Muhammad created this laws as a way to marry his adopted son‘s wife. All Mohammed was thinking about was his sex drive.

Just remember someone who believes in Santa Claus and lies to kids about it, who believes that the all powerful Creator who created the Sun and everything else has a son and mother (Astaghfirullah), people covered in tattoos from head to toe, people who love being punch drunk, people who sleep with every person they date, do you need to listen to what they say? 80% of adopted children in the west take their parents to court (research if you can't believe it) hence a resounding NO.

U should do some research before saying what you are saying is facts. Do not spread hatred simply because you don't like a certain religion. Yes, it is true that the Prophet (SAW) married Zainab bint jahsh. But not for the reason you mentioned. The adoption was terminated as was advised by Allah Almighty. Which means she was not his daughter in law.

@common_ studio's it's not unjust. Whats unjust is not treating adoptive parents as parents. Adoptive parents are at times more responsible than biological parents which is how children who need adoption exist in the first place. Adoptive parents should feed and raise the child but not pass their name?

She does not share your religion so she is exempt from your views. Blood or not. The child becomes your own. You care for that child. Provide and raise mentally healthy children who hold principles, values, and a love for all that is life. Islam most importantly teaches peace and love. You do not show this. Practice what you preach, you are still a slave to basic emotion.

My sister if you breastfeed that girl...than she mehram to you and your husband...and you can take care of her but she should know about her real father...and always put your name in guardians section on legal documents
