Here’s a tip. Go to your Switch menu and set the button to Momentary. This way it will only kill the engine when you hold down the Aux button. As soon as you let go of the button the Super Bee will go back to green automatically.

I owned 3 super bee kill switches had nothing but trouble i went with the dynamite kill switch and never had a problem again! And the dynamite is almost half the price and twice the reliability!!’

@@CCxRC Forgot to say, many people run additional skid plates for their 5ive they are super cheap (i think around 10$ each) and they rl extend the life of the chassis.

The plug going into receive does the white wire go to the right or left side when u plug it in thanks

Everyone kept telling me the get the Killer RC one...so I did. Would’ve been a lot easier to get a receiver extension wire and run it to the battery box though....maybe I’ll change it soon

Haha! Yeah man. They are the best. I just found the ones you sent. I’ve been traveling so much and someone thought they were doing me a favor by putting them in my work desk...got lost in the pile until I cleared it off. Now I’ve got them on a bunch of transmitters...all my race ones

Hi. Can I pigggyback the killswitch off of channel 2 on my receiver. The receiver has a 3rd channel but my transmitter is 2 channel. I can upgrade but if it is just for the killswitch, I would like to know if I can avoid it.

What transmitter do you have I installed my super bee kill switch I just can't figure out how to program it I think I have the battery and glitch settings right I think I'm doing it wrong on the transmitter

How did you get it to connect to your spektrum radio? I have the DX5 Rugged, and it doesn’t shut down motor when you turn off radio!

Take the flywheel cover off its much easier to put those wires on

Funny last night I watches a video about a runaway RC with no kill switch, thought of you. Funny timing is all. Glad to see we won’t be watching you chase that around, when you lose RC run away. Later

That is some hilarious timing! I've seen a couple videos of it happening now. I was playing with fire those first few runs. This switch is pretty slick

Hey what happens if the battery gets dis connected

get outerwears to cover the air filter, search on the computer for outer ware cover for the Losi 5T and you should be able to find one for the air filter and one for the pull start to keep the grass and leaves from getting into your engine. good luck.

I have always run my transponder forward if the RX from what I understand the RX can interfere with the signal, but maybe that has changed in recent years

@@CCxRC that may have changed with newer RX and Transponders, I use to race 1/10 indoor touring, back when I was racing weekly lipos were just starting to get big. I have been in and out of the hobby since so newer tech may be different. I am ordering a 5t 2.0 next month I jave been eyeing one for a while, and I like that it runs on 2 cycle, nitro gets expensive

What controller do you have. On mine I set the failsafe to engage the brake and hit the killswitch. So when I turn off my controller it does those two things

I just installed mine, haven’t run it yet as I need to go over everything in the morning but to engage my super bee all I seem to have to do is switch the power button off on the controller ? It’s a fkysky and a 30DTT .

And get a tuned pipe for it

would have been way easier if you just removed the engine

Need to get some outerwear so you don't run that motor it'll keep that rat nest of grass out of your head
