THIS is how you don't jump the shark! You start with a truly well written song, then leave the cheese and gimmicks and flash out of it! Just pure musicianship! Well done! Thanks, PMJ, for bringing back that feel!

While everyone tends to focus on the vocalist in these music videos, I was struck by the instrumental arrangement this time. This arrangement gave me goosebumps, and I couldn't stop jivin' to it. It omits the sharp, intense drum solo of the original song (at the start of each chorus), which has always been my favorite part. Yet the beautiful jazz phrasing that replaces it is so very good! As soon as the song ended, I wanted to listen to it again. As for the vocals: PERFECTION. I've had years of classical vocal training, so I'm pretty picky--but Kaeyra demonstrates exquisite phrasing and expressiveness. A truly wonderful performance.

I like how this didn’t rely on the drum fill as a crutch. This was entirely its own song and that mad this more enjoyable as a whole. If I want the drum fill I’ll watch one of the 3 versions of the song that’s in the recommended list to the side
