I didn't like it, You Don't Own Me is about a girl flipping off his boyfriend because of his abusive behaviour, Don't Speak is about a girl owning up to her mistakes in the moment of getting dumped. The arragement itself is amazing though.

The man behind the curtain is always the most overlooked and yet the most important of any artistic performance. Haley's magic, but Scott is the one who knows how to best apply that power! He makes masterpieces with his works to start with, and then improves on perfection with his nose for talent.

But this could be said for the music composer, choreographer, makeup and dress coordinator for Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga. But I get your point. Scott is incredible. But when Haley sings for him it's like magic. Postmodern Jukebox gets more likes when she sings then the other performer.

A lot of singers refer to their voice as their "instrument." Haley wields hers at a master level. Intonation, tone, expression, timbre, breath, volume, she seems utterly decisive about every syllable and sound that issues forth from her mouth. Truly exceptional.

One of my friends who showed me this particular video said "Haley has better control over her voice than most people have over their lives" and is that not a fact? Her scatting (boo-bop-doo-wop, you know, that stuff) skill is magical, it feels like her quick notes are cascading around you while she sings. What a talent. I remember I felt Miss Reinhart was robbed on American Idol. Now that I think about it I became less inclined to watch the show after her departure. I just recently rediscovered Miss Reinhart on KZread. Miss Reinhart is one of the most underrated artists of the decade. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. Postmodern Jukebox arranges these songs often surpassing the originals. Thank you for efforts and amazing music.

So, I waited patiently (I'm in RI) for almost 10 years, I finally have tickets to see Haley live April 4, 2020 in Boston...April 1st due to covid, concert cancelled. 😭 😢 As far as female vocalists, it's her, Tori Kelly, and Lzzy Hale, they can use their voices as an instrument. I have a theory on why she isn't a household name but it's sounds crazy, let's just say she refused to sell her soul.
