Yes, it's really great.! Phil allowing his son to do what he wants to do. And what do you know he wants to make music and wanted to get good at drumming. I know that very passion and achieved that goal too. Also great that they get to perform together for a bit of time, for them and for us.! We're all gonna die, but it is fuggen Hard to take the slow decline, decay, painful degeneration, malfunction, PAIN, and eventual total loss of and death of the body...eh.! Thanks for your strength Phil..and Nicholas!

Phil's voice sounds as great as ever, if not better. I hate that he's suffering from back problems and mobility issues, but he still soars when he sings.

@@dannydorko7075 Agreed. I saw Genesis in Oct 2021 and his voice is certainly not what it was. Also, his general health had deteriorated since this clip. Here, he walks with the aid of a stick, but when I saw him he needed a zimmer frame. Sad to see such a rapid decline in health.

It makes me sad watching my idol for so many years, slowly walking with that cane and suffering from his illness. But your voice is still sounding like an angel's voice. Phil, thanks for giving me so much inspiration over the decades. Will never forget !

He is brave to Tour while not feeling well - but his boy is there, he seems truly happy to be with him & he sincerely sounds excellent!

Nic Collins inherited Phil's music talent. He plays the piano just as well as the drums. Love them both and their close relationship. This was beautiful.

Top 3 Phil Collins attributes: 1.) Gorgeous, meaningful heart-stirring lyrics 2.) Gorgeous, meaningful, heart-stirring melodies. 3.) Witty humor Friggin hit machine. Never far from pop radio. Huge part of my entire life.

To have your kid support you in that way must be a proud moment.

It’s amazing that Phil’s son is such an accomplished musician at such an early age. I would say that performing with his son would have to be his greatest accomplishment.

What gets me is phil collins sounds so good live and you can't say that about other musicians and my friends shows he is a rare talent. We are so lucky to have a musician this talented in our lifetime.

Heartbreaking it may well be, but infinitely better anyway with Phil still battling on and backed by his fabulous son, than what happened to so many other greats, Collins' peers: Lord, Squire, Peart, Emerson, Lake, Wetton, Holdsworth, Bardens, Way or Powell, no longer with us.

When I first discovered Phil Collins/Genesis in 1984, it was the Mama album, but soon I purchased Face Value and Hello, I Must be Going and wore them out on my turntable. This song, was very poignant at the time, because as a teen, my heart had just been broken for the first time, and I would play this song, as well as "If Leaving Me is Easy" over and over again... Love hearing Phil sing, and glad to see his son with him.

I remember being young in body. And by that I mean, having a younger body. You see, I'm just along for the ride in my 50+yr. old body. I'm still 17 in my head. There is something so fulfilling about performing with your children (!Mr Collins has been one of my greatest inspirations, and my children grew up listening to his music constantly with me). As a a person who very much followed in his footsteps as a pianist/vocalist/percussionist, composer and educator, I cannot thank him enough for the range of his work. Even dealing with issues in life that interrupt our ability to do things exactly the way we used to, we can still use music to reach across every barrier. When simple words aren’t enough, the music is always there…as long as we learn to share and listen. Wishing you many more years of creative sharing and praying for comfort in the process. I truly believe that the sense of humor goes a very long way towards ‘one more night’ of song.

"OK , when we started talking about doing some shows, which was a couple of years ago now., he was 16 ,and he thought it would be a good idea if he heard of some of Dad's old records. You know, just to see what was around to corner. And he listened to them and he found a song that he liked. Just one. ...ok, Two songs. This just in ladies and gentlemen! Breaking news! But it was mainly just one. Yeah of coarse it was. Anyway, so he asked me to teach how to play the song , it was on Face Value, it was a long time ago. And I didn't remember. You know I didn't remember what I did yesterday. Oh don't worry it will happen to you , too ( referring to his memory loss). Maybe it has already. Maybe you think this is a Sting concert. Ok, you've upset me now ( jokingly, after audience laughs). Anyway, he taught himself this song and I taught himself the lyrics again , because it was a long time ago and we are going to play it for you tonight. (looking backstage). Is Sting here? No, I'm just kidding , he's not coming. No really , I'm seriously. Ok, so it's not a very long song, so if you dont like it , its going to be over soon. "

This song got me through my first heartbreak years ago and when he performed live in 2019 I couldn’t stop crying! Love you Phil you’re amazing.

A father and son playing such n emotional song together.....amazing.

Phil has a heart of Gold and is blessed with angelic son. Love how the kid gave an appreciation hug to his daddy ❤

And Nic smokes on the drums like his dad. That was beautiful. Even a simple song like that is not easy to play. The talent is genetic. I'm going to be crushed when Phil passes, he's only 72, I hope it's still a long time off. He can barely walk, but he can still sing, and he's still funny. He's had an amazing career, being a major part of THE best prog rock band, one of the best drummers in the world, thrust to the front as a singer, and a very good one. His oldest son Simon is the best Genesis cover singer, sounding so much like Phil, and he also smokes on the drums like his old man.

Have so much respect and love for Mr C..so lovely to see the live between himself and his beautuful son❤❤

Much respect to a living legend who has the balls to get up on stage despite health issues and continue to give all that he can musically, even if it is less than what he used to do. He can no longer play drums or piano, but he still has a beautiful voice and spirit. This choked me up to see, especially with his very talented son accompanying him on a song of his choosing from dad’s catalogue. Just beautiful..

I too give my full respect to the great Phil Collins. Does he know how much he's for us? Ah I can understand with the passing years that he's tired and would like to have a little more intimacy but his charisma and beauty of heart, we miss this because he made his mark, his signature in us. Thanks a thousand times Sir Phil Collins.

Nicholas is very fortunate that his dad is still here and performing. Jason Bonham and Natalie Cole only have videos to perform with. Long live Phil. I've been a Genesis fan for over 45 years.

I walk with a cane from arthritis by fifty so when I saw him walk out on stage I could feel what he felt and I cried. One thing is he has is such a talent and bring such joy to everyone with his music. I could listen to him over and over. Beautiful son that is following his father and helping him.. I wish them both the best and will always be listening.🙏🏻🙋‍♀️
