Oh my God, where do you find these people? This woman is absolutely out of this world! I just watched a video of her singing dancing queen, while tap dancing and playing the trumpet better than most famous musicians, and now she’s playing the trombone to, and just kicking it, absolutely unbelievable! This woman is a one woman show all by herself! I am absolutely blown away! I played the trombone for 18 years, and couldn’t even get close to what she’s doing!

Gunhild Carling (born 7 May 1975) is a Swedish jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist.[1] She is famous for playing three trumpets at the same time.[2] Carling became known for her performance at Allsång på Skansen on July 20, 2010. The same year, she became an expert commentator for Dansbandskampen at SVT. Gunhild plays trombone, bagpipes, trumpet, recorder and harp, and will often showcase all of her skills in one song, sometimes casually breaking into a tap dance or singing lyrics. [3] Carling competed as a celebrity dancer in Let's Dance 2014 on TV4, placing third.[3][4] In 2013, she performed with her 'Carling Big Band' at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in the celebration of King Carl XVI Gustaf's Ruby Jubilee.[5] In 2016, Carling performed at King Carl XVI Gustaf's 70th birthday celebration.[6] She is featured as a singer and multi-instrumentalist in several of Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox's adaptations of pop songs, which include a jazz swing version of Rick Astley's "Never Going to Give You Up", a 1920s jazz swing version of "Material Girl", a vintage jazz version of Europe's "The Final Countdown", a jazz cover of Pharrel Williams' "Happy", and a 1920s hot jazz cover of ABBA's "Dancing Queen".

Her singing isn't effortless. She's got breath support issues (speaking from experience). Which sounds weird to say, since she can play so many other instruments, but something about her singing is a bit off. However, she shreds it on the trombone/other instruments, and she's a hell of a performer, so she's an embarrassment of riches when it comes to talent!

Been to 2 of Gunhild's concerts at Blues Alley in DC. Wow, what a performance! 1st time, she mainly played the trumpet and trombone. Plus she played the flute, recorder and bag pipes. The 2nd time, she played mostly the trumpet. She had her teenage daughter on the trombone and adolescent son on the clarinet. She has a very talented family. If you like this style of music, go see her in concert. You won't be disappointed.

I'm originally a heavy metal person. And despite I still consider myself to be young.... I'm a metal guy since 15 years (regreting to admit I'm turning 30 this year). But this is just pure gold. I am so much into those "20s to 40s" style videos I almost start to forget I started out as a heavy metal guy... seriously. Not just this video but a lot of others aswell from PostmodernJukebox. Greetings from Germany, keep up the fantastic work. Get me even more addicted. I'd like to hear some Katatonia one day in 20s style but I guess they are not famous enough?

Besides singing with swedish accent (perhaps that's why she picked this and dance queen songs) she plays every wind instrument amazingly well. Then she plays every other instruments too. She is an amazing teacher/mother, and great and kind band organizer. My hat off to her.
