Fricking, Fricking Awesome. The first time I heard this song was on Miami Vice back in the day. It has since then been one of my favs. Mr. Collins would love this cover. This track actually was featured during the pilot episode of Miami Vice when Crockett (Don Johnson) along with Ricardo Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) was cruising in his black Ferrari Daytona. I actually use to play this in my Camaro ZL1 while cruising in the night.

They are incredible and the two ladies are gorgeous. I love this group...they are better than the original...

Crockett and Tubbs riding through the Miami Streets in a convertible. It’s dark, Crocketts hair is blowing in the wind. Tubbs loads a sawed-off shotgun. This song is playing and you know something is about to go down. Coolest show to ever grace a tv screen.

It never ceases to amaze me how incredible this band is. They never disappoint. I love this song. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing your music with us. The power of music to brighten someone's day when things aren't going well is always incredible, and you ladies and gents are always a big part of cheering me up when I need it.

Wow!!! One hell of a rendition. The entire band is truly amazing especially the drummer. You guys truly nailed it.

I always knew that when (not “if” since this was too inevitable for HSCC to cover eventually) HSCC does this song that Danny would be the lead vocal. I’m as much of a Lopresto fan as anyone, but boy was I thrilled to Brad sitting front and center!! As soon as he sang the first note, I was thinking “this is about to be epic!” I know I’m not the only one who found it strange at first to hear/see Brad singing without playing the drums at the same time 😳. The guy is so good at doing something that seems so difficult that he makes it look normal 🤷🏾‍♂️🤣. Brad’s vocal tone was absolutely perfect for this 👍🏾👍🏾!! The only thing better was the look in his eyes and the anticipation that I know everyone had to feel when he slowly reached for the sticks 👀🤣🤣. You just knew what was about to happen, and yet it still felt like the first time you ever heard it 🤣🤣!! That drum break has to be one of, if not the most iconic in music. Also, big kudos to the instrumentation in this one. You all took such great care of the music… as you always do 👍🏾. There’s a difference between caring for the music and just playing. I used to play this song as a DJ in one of the clubs when I worked in Sydney back in the 80s. Loved playing this song up really loud. Great job Brad!

Go Brad! I was sitting here just as it started and then thought "OMG, this is going to lead to that drum solo!!!" The anticipation in this song is excruciating. You want it to happen but also don't. One of the least action tracks ever (at first), apart from watching Jordan's concentration. I would have messed up the octopad by that time. Superb once the main part kicks in. Kudos to all for holding out. Powerful song, well executed. Love from England x

The beginning of this song sounds simple but in reality it is extremely difficult because there are so many layers and everything is so exposed that any wrong note or rhythm would be immediately noticeable.

I been listening to music all my life from heavy metal, classical, new wave, christian, pop, country, rap, street singing, blues, and you name i heard it. This band bring music to the highest level and nothing they can't do or sing. Well done and keep performing for fans of music period.

This is his fifth (that I can find), with HSCC.

My favourite Phil Collins track and you guys gave a great rendition, including the drum takeover, which you did so well. Well done another superb cover.

You're all great musicians, but the vocalist / drummer's performance is just out of this world 😮😮😮

The Days when Phil Collins ruled the world and now brought back to life brilliantly by HSCC

September 16, 1984. This song, on the tv, the family enraptured, watching the two hour premiere of a new show, entitled "Miami Vice". There had been nothing like it before, nor since. A perfect fusion of music, mood, art and story. Michael Mann helming the show, I fell down the rabbit hole as a 13 year old kid and was just completely blown away. This scene in particular, with "In The Air Tonight" being played as the black Ferrari Daytona convertible speeds through the streets, then cuts to this conversation: (Ringing phone) (Cut to scene showing a woman and child having dinner. She answers the call.) [Crockett] "Caroline." [Caroline] "Sonny? [Crockett] "I need to know something, Caroline. The way we used to be together.... I don't mean lately, but before. It was real, wasn't it?" [Caroline] "Yeah, it was. You bet it was. Sonny, what's wrong?" [Crockett] "Nothing, Caroline." The Ferrari then resumes, with drums kicking in perfectly as the song goes into the chorus. The viewer wonders what that was about, as they slowly realize the undercover work that Crockett has done is taking a such a toll on him that its beginning to blur the lines of reality for him, as Collins sings: "I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord" Thanks for taking me back in time, to an amazing show, and my childhood. You guys absolutely nailed it, like no one else can.
