I ❤️ my cerebellum (anatomy)
Ғылым және технология
This is not a video about climbing, this is an anatomy video about the cerebellum. I'm still stuck at home so here's some more neuroanatomy from the back garden!
What do we need to know about the cerebellum? Let's think about how we would describe its major functions to someone (those functions that we know about), then look at the lobes, some of the fissures, the major parts, its blood supply, and what happens when it gets injured.
There is huge complexity in the cerebellum and much of the neuroanatomy and neuroscience are understood really well, but not completely. I'm going to take you far enough that you will have a good introduction and will be able to jump off into some more detailed neuroscience elsewhere (if you need it).

Just took my last anatomy practical of the semester. I wanted to give a special thanks to you, Sam, for making my passion for anatomy even stronger than it was at the beginning of the year. I watched a ton of your videos this year and you’ve helped so much. Keep inspiring students around the world! Cheers from Canada
I wish i lived in that house with a lovely backyard ☹️ it seems so peaceful. A perfect environment to study❤️
You are nice person. Thanks for all this.
Never boring. Never bored. Thank you. Stay well.
I'm happy that you love your cerebellum Sam. Good vibes.
Putting things in context like this really makes me remember better. Thank you very much!
Hey Dr. House has his own channel, awesome!!!
i love these kinds of videos, like a nice picnic to geek out about anatomy :) Please consider making more of these
I wish studying is always fun learning like this video Thank you ❤️
CBsisme:. I totally enjoyed reading your story about your precious grandson. He was here for a short time and blessed your life as you blessed his. Someday we will know the answers. Love answers all things and makes everything beautiful. I love that you held him as much as possible. I didn't know him, but I'm crying now. I'm sure he's playing happily in heaven and he is surely loved in heaven. I actually injured my cerebellum. I passed out and couldn't walk one night. The dog had tripped me and I fell directly with my arm bent and my hand pushed hard into that area at the back of my head. I would get tingling sensations down my legs. I thought it took about a year to heal, but I still get the tingling. A chiropractor diagnosed me. Anyway, I wish you much happiness in life for your unselfish love for your grandson. So many people would not respond so lovingly. Sincerely and respectfully, Joan Morgan.
Amazing job.
Hello, I have stumbled across your video through my own searchings - I was hoping to ask you a few questions relating to chiari malformation 2 and if that may have any kind of impact on the hypothalamus or pituitary as I was recently diagnosed with CM2 but have had issues with female health or the lack there of if you get what I mean 😅 I have searched Google high and low with no luck and I'm just wondering if you had any insight to possible reasons or explanations? Sorry if this is a bad question haha
Feels cools studying it this way...
Another great video, but how about putting out a new cerebellum video with all the specimens in your dissection room? I mean the plastic models not the specimens themselves. Thank you !
The best 😍
Thank you 🙏🏽
brilliant
22:30 as if us neuroscientists could ever make it more complicated than you anatomists
My teacher said, "read about the brain" and i was like, , hurrayyy Sam Webster
