Brainstem anatomy - just the lumpy bits

Ғылым және технология

Yey! More neuroanatomy! What is the brainstem? Where is it? Is it important?
Let's look at the physical external features of the brainstem. Midbrain, pons, medulla oblongata, that type of stuff. Not the tracts and nuclei and stuff inside!

Thank you so much. The reason I watch the anatomy videos is because of the 3 D visualization. In the books, it is very hard to imagine it but the way you show us we don't even need a cadaver. Thanks a lot again. May God give you health so that you can help people.

Once again, you've really helped me connect the dots.. You always seem to find a way to explain complex info in a simple & entertaining way. Someone give this man an MBE! 🙌

Halfway through my studies to become a physiotherapist, and I'm coming back to this channel time and time again, so far I've always found exactly the explanation needed for that aha-moment! Plus the dry humor makes it so entertaining I'm sure I'll keep watching even after I finish my studies. Thank you!!

Fantastic lecture, and I love the honesty. Sad that lecturers get told to teach subjects outside their areas. Disgusting considering the new prices for university study in that shithole. And that's coming from an Englishman. Thank you for the upload, and like you say, it's all about adding a little bit at a time. 😁

It's worth considering that one of the ways that we become experts is by teaching. "To teach is to learn twice".
