It introduces a power dynamic that is inherently unequal and potentially extremely manipulative. I have one good friend that married older when we were in our twenties. She had babies first and will be a empty nester pretty soon, relatively speaking. She hates her life lol. She missed all the milestones with her peer group. She adopted all of his older friends… it aged her before her time.

I saw many traits of narcissistic personality disorder in the man from your story, including "lovebombing", creating an idea of a free and wise polyamorous nature, feeding a codependency etc. After a lifetime of relationships like that I am always wary of any power dynamics, but that wariness only comes after years of terrible relationship mistakes similar to the one you described. Please take care of yourself, stay vigilant and protect your heart. You've always been an extremely intelligent person and I know that if anything, your sharp mind will see you through. Love you!

I was manipulated by a 32 year old last year and I am 21. He was my first kiss and sexual experience but not intercourse sex at least. He is also crazyy 😣 and that’s why they prey on young and “innocent” girls. This is why I’m not getting with old dudes and keeping my virginity for awhile now.
