I do it all the time girl! Depression is real af.. I've shaved My head since I was 18 . I wear wigs on and off to hide it.I'm 30 and just had a depressive episode .so snip snip. It's psychosocial self harm to me but I felt relief after wards so I'd cut my hair into mohawk! You look beyoutiful girl.😢❤❤❤love yah

I find these little updates cathartic. Awareness of yourself and being seen by others is so important, in all facets. That's how one heals for life! You're a badass for going through the flames to become a stronger person. You can be strong and still shave your head, and nobody should tell you who you are; I know conformity in Japan is a big thing but who should argue about what you do for yourself to help heal yourself? You're a badass!!

As a guy, I grow my hair out and do this sometimes. I think it's a stress relief thing. Short hair allows much less maintenance so it's one less thing to worry about. It's like decluttering your home.

I shaved my head to the BONE almost two years ago now after doing multiple big chops and just being mentally ill 😭 during that time i felt THE most confident [and also most conscious] I had ever felt. I learned how to love myself more during that time, and a year ago I decided to let my hair grow out. And oddly enough unlike the past 5 years I had tried to grow out my natural hair, I didn't hate myself, my curls, how I looked. Shaving my head completely really pushed me to work on loving myself, and now I'm more confident than ever in myself. No regrets at all! But sometimes I miss doing temporary tats on my egg head.

Many people in the world with no slippers or a house! Will do anything to be in your shoes! You even got shoes! Many times i dont like where i am.
