I didn’t have a “hoe phase” when I studied abroad in Japan but I legit got a steady boyfriend within three weeks of me being there after not dating anyone in America EVER. All of the stuff you said in that video is true, pretty much. I had boys approaching me on the first day of school, and a friend of mine told me that 5 or 6 other guys had approached her asking about me, the “hot friend.” I was SHOOK. I really could’ve gone WILD in Japan had I wanted to. At least I know for next time 🥴 Anyways this was amazing and I loved your makeup in this!

Honestly, the make up look is so stunning, especially that shade of red on your complexion! I would love to recreate it on myself, however I would not do it any justice. I just started watching your content again and must say the growth is incredible. Also, the fact that you've remained so genuine and true to yourself is what I truly believe attracts the loyal and supportive audience you do. (Side note: speaking your mind on issues you feel passionate about or feel don't receive as much attention as they should is never cringe. I've admired the way you have used your platform to share your personal struggles and experiences with living abroad to pursue higher education and being black in an almost 100% homogenous society, where prejudice exists).

Agreed with everything until you felt the need to bring up comfort women. What happened was obviously not okay but that has no correlation to how CURRENT men act. It was a completely different time and environment (but still wrong, don’t get it twisted). But yes men are men everywhere you go.
