    Thank you so much for this! I can see now how my lack of mobility has caused so many injuries in the gym, even with next to no weight! I did a shoulder press with like .5 kg like 3 months ago and hurt something and am trying to repair it and had a PT smashing me in the gym with squats and hurt my back and thought it would go away if I got stronger but my mobility is shiiiiit. I feel I’m more confident doing workouts!

    I cannot believe how amazing and instructional your videos are. I wish I lived closer to have you as PT to pinpoint my weaknesses and improve upon. I love how you explain everything. It's so easy to follow, I have no issues getting the details of your directions. I will soon be purchasing your programmes in order to further progress on my calisthenic's journey, which is just starting. On top of all that, I admire how clean your moves are, the execution of the excercises is simply flawless (at least to my eyes). One thing I really want to achieve again is the full split. I know this video is one year old. yet I hope you get to read this message at some point. Please keep the videos coming. You guys are doing a great job teaching people the correct positions and how to avoid injuries! Best of luck mates!!! =)

    @@cesarortiz395 its the air building up in the intestines that is impacting your duration and thus builds up negative pressure that's why it's impacting in a negative way, a solution would be to stick a little straw up your bumm so that the air flows right out before it starts building up, this should fire your duration through the roof, let me know if it works cuz I never tried it . And here I started calisthenics by doing 300-400 floppy and extremely messed-up form push-ups for 3 times per day. Which is 900-1200 floppy push-ups per day.

    What are right progression and rest? How long should be rest? How often should I exercise? How many reps for each exercise?

  • @iamjeromechristopher

    @iamjeromechristopher

    5 жыл бұрын

    @sipungora Great questions! For progressions, it is important to first know what your current strength is when doing the basic moves as a beginning calisthenics athlete. Then you can determine the right progressions to advance and challenge yourself. For resting, you should target to rest as short as possible between reps so you challenge your muscles to grow, and at the end of your circuit, rest for 1 to 3 minutes to get a quick recharge and go back into your training. Some rep ranges that I have used that are beneficial to me are: Building endurance - 12 to 15+ reps Building muscle - 8 to 12 reps Building strength - 4 to 6 reps Building max strength - 1 to 3 reps Hope this helps!

    Heyy. I've been practicing by watching your videos from a month. Daily I've been doing as per the sequence - warm-up, streches and then strength training involving more push ups and animal kind of moves and handstand. Yesterday I observed my right side chest is bigger than left. Today I'm feeling pain on entire right side that I can't even lift anything. I've been doing workout with focus and I don't know why my Right side taking most of the weights. Please help me with the solution/reasons for this.

    Dethzoomastro I can do 25 push ups in a row, last year when I started calisthenics I wasn’t even able to do 1. If you wanna progress with your push ups you need to do a lot of “Decline Push up” where you lean your hands to wall or chair for support. The push up will come automatically to you once you have enough strength to do 1 push up. I used to do them everyday back in 2016 and that’s how I got my first push up. Hope it helps!
