This was awesome, I literally watched 5 videos before yours that mostly focused on the freebie and then wanted you to sign up to a course. I appreciate you sharing where to start, like the actual tools. I am the kind of person that will not only share and sing your praises because you gave me answers to my questions. I at this very moment am working on my mindset. But not everyone in the economy can afford to spend $1000 on learning how to grow their audience or an email list. So thank you so very much! I am just start my business. I make handmade journals for grieving people. I started doing this after my son died 3 years ago 12-8-2019. My journals are geared to help you not just write your emotions, they have trackers to help you know if you’re on a path of healing or not. I also teach creative and purposeful journaling!

It's better late than never! Building an email list is a great way of keeping in touch with your prospects and customers. Love the step-by-step tutorial, btw!

I love these tips, Rachel. Thank you for sharing. I have only one note: I wish your digital marketing content was more customized for KDP publishers, rather than for digital course enterpreneurs, cuz most of us here came from your LCPA academy and need help with building our business and promoting our books online. I would appreciate if you create more videos with real-life examples on how to use email marketing strategies to build our publishing business. Should we focus on discussing the content from our books in our emails, or maybe how we think our book will help the target auidience in some way? When you have a product like a planner, or activity book, is kinda hard to come up with different ideas to promote that book without sounding spammy.. I hope that makes sense. P.S. I believe there are many students in your course that would be interested to learn about this subject in more depth.

If you want to effectively promote your affiliate items, you should put a high priority on building a strong email list with high-quality leads. It's better to build your own email list than buying one just to expedite outreach. Such a band aid solution that could even harm your business. Aside from your great pieces of advice, every business can build an email list from scratch with our help. Though not free, we can guarantee that it's worth every penny. Literally penny as you only pay for email address you generate.

It’s only ‘free’ if you know how to do it yourself. Build a website, build a landing page, social media etc. Good ideas, but coming from someone who knows how. Over my head but keep in my notebook for future. Thanks for sharing.

Building a website is much easier now than ever before. I'd be willing to bet you could be up and running with a site by the end of the day if you watch a few videos. Check out some WordPress videos.

Hey Rachel, so I am new to digital marketing and email lists, how often do you recommend you actually email your leads? I have not created an email list yet but when I do and have a few people on their how often should I email them?

Hey there. You can set up a welcome series for your leads consisting of 5-7 emails. I would recommend that you ‘tag’ your leads for organizational purposes. Other than that, shoot for 2-3 emails per week OR pick a day to batch your emails and schedule them to be sent out once (or more) per day. 🥂

It usually has to do with transparencies. Try flattening the your file in whatever program you're using before exporting and uploading.
