Your videos definitely make having a newsletter less daunting. But how do I apply this when my business isn’t a service? I sell stickers for example and draw everything myself so I often don’t even know what I have to “launch” next week because my adhd and inspiration don’t like a set plan for the year.

This video is exactly what I needed! I really appreciate it. In a previous video, you said that you tell yourself that no one waits around for your e-mails... but almost every time I open my inbox, I secretly hope I have something from you

Hey Ashlyn, this is an amazing video! I have watched it repeatedly over the years and used it as a guideline to help build my newsletter audiance of small business owners, creatives like yourself, and entrepreneurs. When you get a moment could you create an updated version for 2024-2025 please? Social media has changed a bit and it would be incredibly helpful to get your take on what currently is the best strategy to build our audiances. Thank you!

Thanks! I have been using you hero content strategy and I purchased one of you smaller offers. Thanks so much for all the great content. I was using your methods to lead up to launch then I tested coid positive and was sick for 4 weeks of the 6 week runway. So I will start again leading up to the next launch. Where I get stuck is content between launches that are relevant to the course. Thanks!

Dannielle! Yes! For something like a product based business, incorporating a sale or promotion is a great way to "launch" ! :)

For the Facebook lives do you recommend doing them from our business page I feel like no one except for my own parents see anything from my business page but when I do Instagram lives are usually have a few people there I know that you can re-target and re-purpose all of this but I’m just wondering is streaming from the business page the best bet for Facebook

I have a website rebrand that I'm ready to launch but I need to wait 6-8 weeks before doing? I ask because I'm in the wedding market & it's booking season. Thoughts?

GREAT question. You're right, it's booking season, I'd probably go for it. Work hard though on creating 6ish pieces of content/messaging that help people over the hump of hiring you: a quick Google stalk (hope that's ok!) shows you do makeup artistry, so think about creating pilar pieces of content that overcome objections like "do I REALLY need a MUA, can't I DIY this?" "will I look like myself?" "How do I make sure my beauty regimine is in shape before my wedding day so I make the most of my investment in a MUA" etc. In a future quarter, I'd plan a 5-day "launch" where you're pushing to book your services again. :) Cheering you on!
