Love all the deets mentioned here! A lot still struggle with this one, and it's nice to know that you produced a content like this to help the marketing community solve their problem. To add up, which I think would be beneficial for your viewers as well, another way to build an email list is through data appending. You can build new sets of data out of a little info you have. This method is so underrated, and only a bunch of marketers know about this. Let's say you only have names. When you append it (append means 'to add), you may retrieve new sets of info attached to that name such as email address, as well as phone numbers, and addresses. Aside from email marketing, you can explore other marketing channels to better reach your target audience. Sky is the limit when you append data.

That’s very helpful! My method of building an email list is quite different. I use a tool called Leads2list. It runs lead generation ads and sends them directly into the autoresponder and it has a single set-up so leads keep on pouring in without any requirement of sign-up forms.

Hi, Thanks for your great informative video. I have aquestio. In the UK there are new laws to protect people from having theor data shared and used called GDPR. If you collect someone's email by offering them a freebie, does thismean you can then go on to send them stuff to their email in the future. Is there something similar in the US?

I have more +200k Geo UK in my email list . And i send them cold email without any problems maybe cuz of i live outside of UK

Tying things together is a good way to build your list -- think about how you can repurpose your content!

I"m not being snarky here, genuine question: Do people even actually read their emails anymore? Like, I get so many junk emails, that I stopped readying emails literally years ago. I don't even open up gmail until I get a notification on my phone that my mailbox is full so I go in empty it all then don' t log in again until the next notification. I only read personal emails and I like never get personal emails. All the emails I get are for things that force you to use your email in order to sign up for whatever website. And with so many entities willing to sell your email address all the junk mail a person gets is ridiculous.

MHO is to shorten your video (I hope I do not offent you). I lost patients 😥 I got to about 4 min. and still didn't get how to. Too much talking around it. Sorry, but I hope you can use my feedback :-)
