Thank you for this! You really took your mastermind group to heart! I appreciate your candidness. I've been feeling so discouraged, especially when the family tells me I'm wasting my time. I'm not sure why sales are simply trickling in still at this point. I've looked at everything I can think of. But if more books mean more trickles, I don't have to be an overnight success. I'll gladly take lots of little trickles, lol. You are wise and you are helpful. Thanks for sharing!

As a 50+ woman you have a mountain of knowledge and wisdom to share with the world and you can absolutely create any future that you could possibly want for yourself! People need you and the value you have to offer! I used to feel "late to the party" as a woman in my 40s, but I've come to realize that I can still create the life I want NOW. I'm not 100 years old and I still have PLENTY of time to make my dreams come true. And so do you!

SAME!! I will be 52 in three weeks and I worked in retail hardware for 30 years. Our store closed due to covid, I collected unemployment and took a couple years off. I did small internet jobs here and there but generally enjoyed my time. (It was nice! For once in my life I had money to spend!). I need to go back to work now, I just appled to the local hardware store but I want something to do part time, and also something to build up that I can do if/when I can't work anymore outside the house. . I tried affiliate marketing and it just doesn't work out for me. I could really do this. Good luck to you!!!

What I find really hard to understand is how people don't see that there is no recipe for success. Things happens to different people in different ways: we are different, our background is different, the general conditions are different, our time is different and the same procedure cannot produce the same effects. This kind of mental short-seeing astonishes me every time.

Hope you can answer. I see a lot of people telling others to sell low content books, however on the first 15 pages amazon does not advertise these. Amazon sells an amazon basics journal that fully opens 180 degrees an option they do not give us if we post low content journals on kdp. THey've also removed isbns for low content. How does one get started in this if amazon has said it doesn't want these books cluttering the market? It seems like the only way to be seen is to dump more money than you earn into advertising. I have also seen the quality of kdp books and they don't seem very user friendly for journals. What advice can you offer?

My biggest takeaway? There are many positive lessons here, but I prefer to underline those which are so seldom mentioned, namely: pivot, zigzag, or stop beating a dead horse. I always see the same replies from KZreadrs: 'Keep at it'; 'You can do it'; 'Eventually you will be successful'. And while this can be very true, sometimes the smart thing is to stop beating that dead horse, may be we are not good at this; we have no $ to invest in help or ads; we are not willing to work that hard at it, just hoping for something quick and lucrative.... It is very nice to encourage people as you do as well, but also, it is good to remind us there is no more marrow in that old bone. And may be all it takes is to pivot as you say. These points are simply never mentioned in other videos. In any case, you always look so perfect and organized, it is nice to unravel your journey and stumbling blocks so we can all relate.
