I appreciate that, thank you!
Just what I wanted- thanks--the single hand really warms up the wrists, excellent!

Glad it helped!
I can't get enough momentum to get the mace back up. Is my 4kg mace too heavy?

The 4kg is fine, probably just need some more practice. It's an excellent exercise for building wrist/forearm strength.
when doing a 360 is it ok to raise the hands higher in relation to the head or will this cause shoulder problems

Do you mean during the backswing?

@@dangerouslyfit yes, as the mace goes behind your back is it ok to have your hands a bit higher and elbows a bit straighter than right behind your head with your elbows fully flexed.

@@mdoyle1073 You really want your triceps to be in full flexion (bent), ideally your thumbs should be touching the top of your tshirt. There's a lot of torque that goes through the elbows when swinging the mace, if the triceps are engaged during the backswing you might get some elbow pain. If you can fully relax the triceps during the bottom part of the backswing you'll avoid this tension going through the elbow.

@@dangerouslyfit Thanks Dan, I already had tennis elbow and it was already a bit sore, I could feel it in the right elbow right at the back. I started with light weights so not a major problem yet and it has been very beneficial for my back, posture and overall health. I will make the adjustments to the technique. Thanks Mark
