Breaking Down Steel Club Figure 8's

This is where #steelclubs get really fun and dynamic. Start in a rotational pullover position with your feet pivoted. This sets up this movement to drop into a side swing and back up into a pendulum (like a mace 360) and back to the rotational pullover position again with more and more accelerated force with each rep. What’s athletic about this exercise is the pivoting technique required for it. Strength comes from the ground up. So stealing stability by digging and pivoting the big toes into the ground will result in better power output for this figure 8 motion.
