    I am a woman starting with 2lbs clubs. I'm not too proud to say 5lbs feels like too much right now. I like your manly gym set up. Thanks for the great videos!

    I barely started working out again after 3.5 years away. Got into steel clubs and maces now, starting out with 5lbs just because I don't want to wreck myself without getting technique down first. Your channel is awesome.

    Hi Coach. Question: Is this workout supposed to be a circuit?, or should we finish one full "x" number of sets of each exercise and then move to the next number of sets for the following?, cheers!

    Do all sets of each exercise (1min or so rest in between sets) and then move on to next one. I have the whole workout in the description

    A power twister is a fitness tool which has 2 metal rods on the sides and a steel spring in the middle. Schwarzenneger advertised this product in the late 1960 s. There are many youtube videos.

    I really want to thank you for these videos. I've just started steel club and mace work (since I can't currently hit the gym due to the situation) and your videos have been invaluable. One quick question regarding this video. When you do mills here, you go from outside to in, however, in your Steel Club Education 101: Mills video, you go in the opposite direction and recommend against going outside. If you can clarify this for me I'd really appreciate it. I'm working with 10 and 15 lb steel clubs atm and though this workout does feel comfortable, I just want to make sure I'm not doing any long term shoulder/elbow damage. Again, thank you, these videos are so great.

  • @CoachVikingVaughn

    Thanks, but yes you caught me on that. This video was filmed in 2016 and I started to realize milling them outside was causing a lot of unnecessary strain on the elbows with not just me, but also with my clients. By the time I thought about deleting this video in 2018 since my methods changed publishing my ebook (GADA Club)...it got popular. So I decided to keep it since so many loved it. So yes, I do advise against milling outside with Steel clubs and only with light Indian clubs with more speed.

    @@CoachVikingVaughn Great! Thank you for the clarification and the rapid response, I'm glad you didn't delete this as it's a great beginner workout, I'll simply switch the mills to inside.

    Sorry for asking another question but at which weight should one start. In another video you suggest 15 lbs. Is this here the case, too? Will you get additional benefits if you also include steel mace workouts? Or is this just a waste of time. What do you think?

  • @CoachVikingVaughn

    @CoachVikingVaughn

    It's no problem to ask, With a single club yes, 15-20lb would be a good start for beginner males, but doubles I would recommend starting at 10lbs working up to 15lb pair. I demoed with 15lbs clubs in this video and believe me it was hard enough on my grip.

    Yeah that's WAAAAY too much for a beginner. Thats insane for doubles as well. I would say no more between 4-7kg for beginner male. I have a FAQ video here if you need more info: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hpyCmryThpDdXdo.html
