You possibly kneaded the dough too long. If it ends up getting stiff when kneeling it, and a little bit of milk and combine for a few seconds. Then coat your scones with a light layer of milk

Hello, thank you so much for posting this. I do have a question, I see videos which only a few they were Australian where they say lemonade but it seems like it's more of a lemon seltzer, is that accurate because in the US where I am when we say lemonade meme basically lemon juice with a lot of sugar and water, and I just want to make sure I use the right type of liquid. 😊 Thank you

Hi! Australian here. What you're looking for is something similar to 7up? A clear lemon soda. Also we confuse ourselves because we call both the lemon juice and the soft drink lemonade.

Is it simple cream or double cream? Also how many grams of flour and how many ml of cream,please

Yes, but then you have to add some sugar, or it won't brown or be that moist.

How much FLOUR???

This is not meant to be insulting or racist in any manner, but as an Aussie of Scots-Irish descent, and having been descended from First Fleet penal colonists, I’ve never been able to wrap my mind around an Asian with an Aussie accent. That said, the scones look deelish…nice and fluffy.

i tried this recipe and although they came out fluffy and nice, i felt it lack the richness and sweetness of a scone made from butter and sugar. i wouldnt make them again, sorry, but i guess if you wanted to whip up something quick that was going to be eaten immediately, then they would be fine, but i prefer the more traditional scone method

Not a bad video only let down by no measurements for the ingredients, which in a video is very important if you want someone copy your recipe.
