Thank you for not wasting my time and using 30 million different types of kitchen utensils I don't have.

I honestly just carefully crack an egg or two at a time into a deep pan or small pot with boiling water. I don't add vinegar or strain anything. They came out perfect

Then use an egg poacher. You probably don't have that either?

You can literally buy a strainer/sieve at the dollar store. Do you not have bowls, a pot, or a large spoon either? 🤷🏾♀️
This is the only tutorial about poaching eggs that has been really useful for me. Thanks so much.

That's a very nice table. I forgot to mention that this is the best instruction for making perfect poached eggs
Thank you I did do the vinegar but you showed me that my pot was not deep enough so hence why mine were hit and miss and thanks for explaining about putting the eggs into the sieve Xx
I love poached eggs and this is the best advice I have ever seen on how to do it. Thank you.
I’ve made poached eggs before but never heard about straining them the remove excess watery whites. My poached eggs were picture perfect, thanks!!!
I followed all your steps, and made 6. They turned out perfect! ALL SIX ! Thank you so much! Love to all from 🇬🇧
Just tried using a sieve after following lots of other tutorials. It works perfectly 👌

The sieve idea is clever and worked for me. I found the water boil is best exactly how you do it with a very gentle, gentle rolling boil. When the egg float they are generally done. Thanks for the tips.
WOAH no one has ever told me to sieve the egg but dude... I just made the best poaches eggs of my life with like no hassle THANK YOU SO MUCH also little tip for other people I pick my eggs out of the pan using a slotted spoon so I can get rid of the water and go straight onto toast

Yes I was surprised that he used a ladle instead of a slotted spoon to remove the eggs. it just seems like common sense.

Using a slotted spoon will help to drain off most of the water when removing the eggs from the pan.
Love it! Trying this out for our Mother’s Day breakfast! Wish me luck!!
I usually don't comment or like a video but this deserves both ! Thank you
Cheers Dr.Chill, concise and proper as always! Much appreciated bud !
Oh my gosh, this helped me so much! Thank you

Went and tried it, and Everything Dr Chill says here is legit egg will begin to dance perfect poached eggs every time. No vinegar necessary. Thanks for sharing this Doc..
Love poached eggs...mmmmm so tasty...gonna try your way...need eggs now!!!! Nom nom!!😁 thanks for sharing..xx
What I love and have never been able to find on YT or anywhere else, is the Gourmet method making the egg into a fluttery like shape like a cloud in the sky. I heard that high end chefs can do that artistically by swirling the whole egg (all the white included) in the water and then ever so gently, capturing the whole beauty. I saw an episode of Bob Newhart where Emily was serving these lovely huge white clouds from a French brass chaffing dish (she was always cooking Gourmet dinners on that show) and she had a large brass spoon by which she was scooping them out onto plates and serving folks their breakfast dishes. I was soooo impressed. But I have never been able to get them to come out that way. I love your method here and appreciate this video!
Wahhh..easy way..thank you for sharing.🇸🇬
Just tried it. SO EASY! Thank you
Beautiful lovely eggs my friend! You did an amazing job! 🙋❤💜
Great simple video to the point THANK YOU!!!!
finally one without using non stick pan. dude you're a master.
Loved the vid. and the ever so simple instruction ❗❗👍🏼🙌🏼🥰 Did you just eat all those beautifully perfect poached eggs at once? 🤭🐣Lol! Thanks for sharing with all of us hungry folks in KZread Land❗❗💖🐓
Just tried it & it works a treat! Cheers bro 😀
Amazing I have to try this
If you refrigerate the eggs you don't have to do the seive prior. And if you stir the water prior to dropping in the egg the swirling will help hold the shape even more.
Nice and simply explained. Thanks.
Love poached eggs but always thought them a hassle...til now! Never thought about straining the eggs beforehand. Now I can see into the water and how they're cooked. And I thought it had to be stirred constantly to prevent sticking to the bottom and breaking the yolks. Wrong again! Love short, to-the-point videos...good job.
Really Good.
Finally I made 2 perfect poched eggs after your video !!!! Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you, I didn’t know the trick with the sieve🤔... I’ll try it!🍷🍷
concise and very imformative thanks!
It came out perfect. Thank you so much!
Amazing I love this
Thanks for this, i really appreciate that you explained the best way and why, I ALWAYS put salt in cause that how nana said to do it but after watching this I now know where we were going wrong! Cap or vinegar instead of a pinch of salt made a MASSIVE difference, thank you soo much!
Lovely 😍
YUM and then some..I'll try it this way in the morning..
My mouth is watering those eggs looked perfect!
I just used this method ... Best poached eggs on toast of my life, yum 😋 . Cheers 👍
we are soul mates .. lol ... LIQUID GOLD :) grew up eating poached eggs on toast with my grandpa -- I too can cook perfect poached eggs. The white done - no longer clear or too jiggly and the yoke hot and runny .. YUM. I know I eat way too many eggs. In our house it was always when in doubt of what to fix / eat -- have some eggs. Great video.
Thanks for truly sharing your skills
Yes perfect 👍
Omg... this is a way easier method! Thank you for sharing!
Nice and simple. Thanks.

Do you put oil in the water?? Thanks for the video! It looks so much easier than I thought 👌🏼
Quality results
My favourite way to eat eggs and yet I've never been able to make a decent poached egg before. I'll have to try this.
Hi Dr Chill .. tQ for your fantastic video on making poached eggs. Simple but spot on. I believe the success is due to the straining of the water in the initial stage .. I'm off to the kitchen .. tQ from Malaysia.
Brilliant.
Had to sub. Best video
The only to the point tutorial 💯💯
Perfect. Definitely the best poached eggs I've seen on any KZread video. For some reason I found Apple Cider Vinegar works best. I also use a large ladle with small holes to drain the watery white and then to retrieve the cooked eggs.
Dr thanks for guide us for healthy way to cook eggs.
Thank you for the video.Use a slotted spoon and have the water simmer it makes the white more silky
love your cutting board...😎
And that's why we love poached eggs to sop it all up with the toast 😋😍
I love this technique. My least favorite part of an egg is the white, so the more you can remove, the better. I'd probably still cut away a little of the white off of each egg before consuming. Thanks for posting this!!

Good preparation
Watched several vedios , eggs didnt come properly but your method is the best. Thank you.
Success! Even got compliments. Thanks a bunch for making the task doable abd approachable 😊
Same method chef's, been using for hundreds of years. Tip: use a slotted spoon to remove the eggs, save you a couple steps. Good video.
thumbs up
Brilliant way. They look delicious 👍 well done 👍
Neat trick!
Best way I've ever seen.. Honestly better than all the top chefs videos 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖💖💖💖
Nice preparation
Woooooooooow perfect
Never heard of that strainer trick. Gonna try that tomorrow for breakfast :) Thanks!
They turned out perfectly cooked, but my problem has always been how to tell when they are just right. Checking the white seems a little hit and miss, or does that system work?
Hi everyone, simple and not at all complicated, testimony of your talent. Best wishes of Algeria.
Dude. This worked perfectly! Thank you!
