I love this guy. Last week at a restaurant I had a poached egg for the first time in my 46 years. Wanted to make it myself this weekend. Watch some videos by some fancy TV chefs and those videos can't compare to this guy's videos. Grandpa, your video is simple and gets to the point and taught me everything. My breakfast was delicious today!

I've tried this and it's the best poached egg I've had. Swirling the water to keep the white together is a good tip.

Thanks, Grandpa!!! I watched another video and they did not specify that you had to put the egg into the center and I tried it after I swirled and I made egg flower soup with the whites. It was such a stringy mess, but my dogs loved it. They volunteered to be the testers should I mess up. Next time I will pay attention to where I set the egg into the water. Thanks!!!! My dogs might be mad at you though, if there are no more mistakes. Ha ha ha.

I've tried this and it's the best way of poaching an egg. Swirling the water to keep the white together is a good tip.
