    I am in love with English eye whip making. After my very first one, I totally believe in that method. It allows for a much smoother transition because you are adding strands at the point where they end, which is exactly where they need to taper, so every single strand terminates seamless, and flawlessly. On the flip side, planning is crucial so that you get the desired distance to the end point, and it isn't possible to adjust the taper if you need or want to, but if you have your measurements right, English Eye whips are simply a dream to make!

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a slow teachable way! You are the only one I've found that slowly and effectively taught me to tie the herringbone knot! I use rawhide and tie it on different items I make. You are so patient and such a great teacher, thank you for your help!!!

    @Nick'sWhipShop I recently developed a method for 'injecting' strands where needed that's virtually invisible. No excess bumps or anything like that.

    I was thinking as I was watching lots of your videos why you do not use the inside strands / guts of the paracord for other things like this or for Wrapping your Transitions and such :) Also why not dip your whip in Wax after Each Belly so it soaks in all of the way easier :)

    Hey nick I was wondering what formula you use to determine what length you need for each strand of a braided layer when you have... 1. The number of braided layers 2. Number of strands per braided layers 3. How long the whip is going to be And also I need help determining how many braided layers I need per whip design when I know the length. And also how many strands I need for a given belly determined by the amount of strands from the overlay. Thank you and i love your videos im learning so much.

    When Issac refers to foot to inches for the length of the fall what exactly is he talking about?

  • @eliasonwhipco

    @eliasonwhipco

    5 ай бұрын

    The taper twist fall is in 4 sections Thong 4. Twisted 2 paracord strand with guts still in them 3. Paracord strand with guts put inside Paracord sheath 2. Paracord sheath only inside Paracord sheath 1. 1 piece of Paracord sheath Each of those sections sould be in inches as long as the whip is so if the whip is 5 foot long the fall should have 4, 5 inch sections. I hope that makes sence
